Liked the location and facilities. Staff for the most part were unwilling to help at all. My friend was not well and i asked them to direct me to a microwave or heat up some restaurant food for me and they refused. Even in the coffee shop which had no customers at the time. I asked 3 staff in total. One tall black door man was exceptionally rude and unhelpful when asked about the taxi service. He didnt answer any of my questions and kept yelling the same thing about picking up the taxi in front of the hotel no matter what i asked him. Each time he just yelled a little louder in response to my questions.

Very nice hotel in a superb location - just minutes from Big Ben. I didn’t get the breakfast as there are so many places to get breakfast in Waterloo station which is across the street.

A city of many cities: London is vast.

A city of many cities: London is vast. There’s far too much to see and do in one trip, let alone a lifetime. Every area feels like its own little world, with its own character and energy, so where you stay really shapes your experience. I stayed right on Piccadilly Circus, a stone's throw from the West End, which is perfect for exploring Chinatown, which has an incredible range of restaurants. I ended up eating there every night!

I used to live in London and know it well.

I used to live in London and know it well. I come every year to visit friends, so I don't go to the normal tourist places. My preferred mode of transport is by London Taxi as I believe they are probably the best cabbies in the world. If I go out of London, I would take a train or rent a car. For solo travelers there are many museums, restaurants, shows/music performances and interesting neighborhoods to walk around.

For the best views in London I recommend a visit to the Sky Garden (free) near Saint Paul's in the Walkie Talkie building. For a great English-breakfast head to Beck's Cafe in Holburn on Red Lion Street.

As a born and bred Londoner, visiting again has made me realise why I left in the first place. Dirty, overcrowded, most of the outer areas have turned into slums. Unless you want to stay very central and spend a fortunate, you will be safe(ish) but severely out of pocket for the bare minimum.

I'd recommend getting a tube to the fully restored Battersea power station. The venue itself is full of interesting shops and things to do but the best part is boarding the Uber Clipper for an inexpensive river cruise (about £6-9) through many of Londons top sites with a close up view of the London Eye, the houses of parliament for example. We took the clipper to the pier near Shakespeares Globe theatre and Tate Modern but visited the area of bankside and around the borough market which is only a stone's throw from the hotel as well. If you like walking its not far to cross the millenium bridge at the Tate to visit St Pauls Cathedral.

London is what you make of it, there is everything there but you have to experiment. The culture is good, music and art. The south bank is a pleasant walk with the music halls, street food and galleries. The museums are excellent. If feeling stressed, head for Hyde park for a relaxing walk or cycle.

Location was ideal, the staff were great, the shower was good (excellant water pressure), and the value for money was brilliant. Free luggage drop off was a plus too. Breakfast was included however wasn't utilised in my case. For roughly half the price of even the cheapest hotels in London, to see any of these amenities included was a welcome surprise.

We were in the travel business for 40 years and have stayed and inspected hundreds of holiday apartments . This is equal to , maybe better, than many of the top apart- hotels in London or elsewhere. The photos in the website were accurate. And very quiet.
