We were just in the Deansgate area.

We were just in the Deansgate area. I was really impressed with it. We were visiting from Bath, which is a UNESCO heritage site. Manchester was much cleaner than bath which is covered unfortunately in seagull poo and generally looks shabby. I love the regeneration in Manchester all those industrial buildings are so striking.

Yes, I do love Manchester. Be careful at night, though.

Yes, I do love Manchester. Be careful at night, though. It can be a dangerous place at any time of the day. There's some proper weird and unhinged people around Piccadilly Gardens. Also pickpockets are rife. Just be aware. Plenty of police usually around.

Manchester is a really amazing city with great vibes and a bustling city centre. Lots of pubs and restaurants with amazing food. Can recommend the The Bay Horse Tavern for their amazing Sunday roast or if you just prefer a great cocktail the Wood and Company is a hidden gem. The canals around the city where a bit dirty.

Our first time visiting and we will definitely visit Manchester again. Several free museums to visit which we really enjoyed. Plus lots of other things to do didn't see much advertisement for other things we were having to Google a lot of it. Plenty of places in the city to eat however driving around Manchester is quite a chore. Lots of traffic constantly we found. Parking is so expensive. We stayed in 2 different ones one was £24 the other was £28. For less than 8 hours. If you want to park in the city centre. Good luck we couldnt find any at all. Found out bus lanes there are in operation 24 hours a day as ended up accidentally going up one and getting a ticket. People who live in Manchester like to trick you as they have space to move forward but choose not to so you get stuck in the yellow grids we found this out most of the time. When searching for restaurants we couldnt find parking anywhere near them. But the city is lovely.
