I'm still in almost shock at how fantastic this hotel is. Modern clean quiet rooms are a good size, yes the bathroom is small but absolutely fine and good. The bed was comfy the breakfast was exceptional. Overall truly exceptional in a great location Sam and Alicia did a superb job checking me out and in, both were really efficient and super friendly. I can't wait to stay again

We loved everything about our stay. The room is spacious, beautifully furnished, with a kitchenette and a washing machine. The shower is outstanding, you can easily lose the track of time there. The bed will make you want to stay there the whole day. The location is great, close to the city center, bus stops, a coach station, and a train station. The staff was lovely. The check in and check out process was smooth and fast.

FAQs about hotels in Manchester

The Capital of the North

With an industrial past and a modern outlook, the complex fabric of Manchester is interlaced with interesting museums, English pubs and shopping centres.

Dash straight into the luxurious Selfridges and Triangle departments stores before checking out the old-English charm of the Shambles.

Manchester wouldn’t be the same without its 2 famous football clubs and fans can go wild at either of the Old Trafford or City of Manchester Stadiums. Music fans will adore the many shows performed at the Manchester Arena, the largest of its type in Europe, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

The cultural foundations of this predominantly red-brick city are on display at the Manchester Museum and the People’s History Museum. If art is you preference, the extensive pre-Raphaelite collection at the Manchester Art Gallery is a sight to behold.

I really enjoyed my time in Manchester.

I really enjoyed my time in Manchester. Visiting Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium was an amazing experience for me. I also enjoyed going into the town and exploring the city. One special moment was worshipping in one of the Catholic churches on Easter Sunday, which meant a lot to me. Manchester is a nice city with great people. If it was easy to get a job here, I would relocate without wasting any time.

I have worked in Manchester a number of times, but this was my first time visiting as a tourist. We essentially came to see the snooker at Manchester Centra, which was fabulous, but we also went to the Manchester Museum, which was excellent. We wanted to see the John Rylands Library, and that was fantastic. A must see for anybody interested in history and architecture, what a fabulous neo-gothic building! Free entry to all of these (except the snooker...)

Great city. Used the trams, loved them.

Great city. Used the trams, loved them. Planners are successfully blending the 19th century heritage with modern development. Significant investment in improving the health of the waterways. Boat trip from Salford Quays up the Manchester Ship Canal gives a real sense of the scale of development and re-generation of Manchester. National Football Museum and the Science and Industry Museum are a well worth a visit.

Beautiful buildings, a compact city, I was very very disappointed with the Manchester Art Gallery - I was looking forward to viewing Marshal Ney Supporting the Rear Guard During the Retreat from Moscow by Yvon, Adolphe. But I have been down to Machest twice in last three months and it is not on view, They have rooms full of "art" that looks as if it should be one your fridge door, or the artist doesn't care much for perspective.

Train up from London was fab.

Train up from London was fab. Trams from Piccadily go straight to CoOp Live Arena and all was perfectly organised and free for ticketholders. The BRITs were amazing, all my fave artists on one stage. Great celeb spotting seat too. There were quite a few drunk loud people on the way back to hotel but it was all friendly. Stayed right opposite station and it was surprisingly tranquil. Train home fab too. I'm visually impaired and had never been to Manchester so I was nervous but on train and at station assistance was great and it was so easy to get the tram. Would love to see more of what Manchester has to offer next time, but highly recommend for concerts at CoOp Live.

Room price obviously hiked for the Oasis gigs and wouldn’t ordinarily pay the room price for this sort of hotel. Only a few minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station, so in the city centre. Very comfortable beds. Inviting bar/lounge area in reception area with modern, funky furniture.
