• Facilities - room is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay: kitchen with all needed appliances (coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher) and dishes. Great addition to those who like to make their own food in your room. The bathroom is clean and has a mirror with a touchscreen, which turns on led lights around it. Another nice up to date technology touch - blinds go up and down automatically according to button touch - you dont need to pull them by hand. • Staff - very friendly and helpful, they assisted and answered all our questions with pleasure. • Location - great! Located in the city centre, everything around 15 minutes walk max from the hotel and it was only 20 minute ride by train from Manchester airport. • Noise isolation - we would like to note that the room had great noise isolation, and we could not hear any noise from other rooms during our stay, which was great.

Very comfortable big apartments, nicely furnished and very clean. Perfect also for a longer stay. The location was a great starting pont as it was in the heart of the city. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment but due to maintenance issues were upgraded to 2 one-bedroom apartments next to each other. The staff apologised for the inconvenience, but for us it felt like an upgrade. We would definitely go back there next time.

Manchester FAQ: Tips for every trip

The Capital of the North

With an industrial past and a modern outlook, the complex fabric of Manchester is interlaced with interesting museums, English pubs and shopping centres.

Dash straight into the luxurious Selfridges and Triangle departments stores before checking out the old-English charm of the Shambles.

Manchester wouldn’t be the same without its 2 famous football clubs and fans can go wild at either of the Old Trafford or City of Manchester Stadiums. Music fans will adore the many shows performed at the Manchester Arena, the largest of its type in Europe, and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

The cultural foundations of this predominantly red-brick city are on display at the Manchester Museum and the People’s History Museum. If art is you preference, the extensive pre-Raphaelite collection at the Manchester Art Gallery is a sight to behold.

Whether you’re flying into Manchester International Airport for business or partying in one of the 500 bars in city, Booking.com’s hotels and apartments can match your accommodation needs.

The city has really changed and is vibrant, friendly with many new buildings and people living in the city centre. Art galleries and central buses were free to use, which made the city feel inclusive and welcoming.

We came to Manchester for my birthday.

We came to Manchester for my birthday. The main hotels are a nice walk from the train station and into town. Many beautiful places to eat waku waku was my favourite. The Manchester museum was lovely to look around, the exhibits were well documented and highlighted the previous colonialism which was a breath of fresh air. It was easy to get around Manchester with frequent buses. But if you are in the centre you can mostly walk everywhere.

Enjoyed the boat trip and the open top bus tour. Salford Quays was great - we loved the Lowry. It was fun to use the trams to get about. Manchester has a confusing layout due to its history as a canal and railway city - a good map is helpful! A vibrant city with lots to see and do!

We were only there one night - a really, really hot night (+38) and that was long enough. We toured the Chetham library which was lovely but getting out of Manchester was a nightmare. Because of the heat, the train station across the street essentially shut down - though this was not admitted. They kept saying delayed and telling us nothing about our train as they were focused on people trying to get to the airport or to London. Finally, my daughter sked someone directly how else we could get to our destination. She was then given proper directions - though due to heat issues we had many more troubles getting where we were going.
