A wonderful stay at the Wellington Arms. The Hayloft room is beautiful, quiet and unique with lounge in the roof. All the little touches are fab from a teapot with tea cosy & turn down service to great shower and lovely lighting. Service are all super efficient and extremely charming. Quick and helpful replies to all my queries prior to staying. Delicious dinner, venison pie and fab full English breakfast with quality ingredients and excellent coffee. Immaculate garden, beautiful in the morning frost. This is so much more than a pub. Many thanks to all.

On arriving I was met by Julie and discovered it was the first day they were open and I was the first guest to arrive. The property had a number of separate private rooms and also a shared kitchen/dining/community space Being brand new, it was all very nicely done and had that new feel to everything. Most important, I had a great nights sleep as you don’t get all the corridor noise that you get in a hotel. Lovely place and sure I will be back in the future.

Staff and cooking (breakfast and dinner)

I absolutely loved everything about Louma. The food is outstanding – you can truly taste the freshness of the ingredients. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and the all-inclusive concept makes the whole experience so effortless, as you don’t have to worry about a thing. The wellness area is incredible, and the gym is even better equipped than my regular one! But what makes Louma truly special is the people and the place itself. It feels magical – with stunning sea views, a calming and friendly atmosphere, and impeccable yet cozy décor. Travelling with a baby, I was deeply impressed by how well-equipped Louma is for families. They provided everything: a baby monitor, crib, bath tub, toiletries, diaper bin, high chair… every detail was thought of. As new parents, it’s such a joy to be able to enjoy a luxury retreat with all the comfort and elegance we love, without compromising on peace of mind or packing endless baby gear. Louma is, without a doubt, one of the best luxury retreats for parents with good taste, who love to enjoy life and share it with their kids.

A quiet unassuming hotel in the middle of the Nkrtbumberland countryside, this is a understated gem of a hotel with spacious and well presented modern rooms. We loved our short stay.

Had a seamless check-in experience—everything was perfectly organized from the start. The thoughtful welcome notes and fun card games added a really personal touch. Spending a night under the stars truly elevated the whole stay. If you love nature, waking up to peaceful surroundings and the chattering of birds is something special. Definitely worth it!

We Loved the property! It was very clean, cosy and has amazing staff. We stayed on Valentine’s Day and much effort was put into decorations for the occasion. Location is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We had a very comfortable stay!

The pool and garden was clean and well maintained (and quiet). Martin and Kyla (the hosts) were very welcoming and friendly. Their breakfast was superb and the communal areas were clean and available to all. The decor was done to a high level and the bed was very comfortable. A truly lovely place to stay, we'll definitely be back for another getaway soon.

The breakfast was delicious especially the home made granola. It was slightly spoilt by the instant coffee, we would have preferred a cafetierre of fresh coffee.

The room was perfectly appointed , decor very tasteful and the view over the sea through the dual aspect windows was beautiful.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous. David went above and beyond to make everything perfect. From home macaroons to the Gin and tonics in our room on our arrival. Even a bucket of ice. The dinner (please book early) outstanding and the breakfasts were WOW.
