The breakfast was also really good. Duvet was nice and warm enough. The bathroom was really good.

It is a very convenient place to explore the Northern half of Dartmoor from. It has a lot of pretty scenery and countryside close by. The town has some good pubs and a lot of attractive buildings. Use Okehampton as a base because it's ideally situated in the centre of Devon. Fantastic location for walks across Dartmoor but there are also many other places of interest nearby including Lydford Gorge and Clovelly. The town itself has several choices to eat out and for drinks in an evening. The Brothers Restaurant was particularly nice. Just beware some establishments don't open on Mondays/Tuesdays.
