Ferry Meadows is a superb place to go with all the family.
Ferry Meadows is a superb place to go with all the family. Plenty to do and lovely wildlife areas. We would have liked to stay longer to visit Peterborough itself, with it's Cathedral, Guildhall, excellent shopping facilities, theatre and night life. We used to live in Peterborough so it would have been lovely to revisit old haunts.

Peterborough has very few attractions apart from the Cathedra. As a priest this was our main reason to visit but it was closed to the public all day die to 3 performances of a show about Songs from the shows!!!- Not what you expect from a Cathedral - stay away>

I loved the location but would not stay at this hotel again...
I loved the location but would not stay at this hotel again because the old worn out sofas made me feel uncomfortable. Also, the fact that we had to practically beg for additional towels for the spa, as opposed to using the towels from our room (as suggested) left a strange taste in my mouth. I would not choose to stay here again.

I cannot see any reason for visiting Peterborough except to visit the cathedral. Apart from the cathedral quarter it could be any modern town with all the usual outlets, plus the usual streets of barbers and vape shops, these are not a comfortable area for a single woman.

Peterborough Cathedral took my breath away.
Peterborough Cathedral took my breath away. An incredible building. Definitely worth a visit. Donations of £6 per person is a real bargain. Great cafe/restaurant next door, Argo Lounge. Delicious food especially the cheese toastie.

Walking distance to the cathedral that was easy to find.
Walking distance to the cathedral that was easy to find. Paid for the tower tour which was excellent. Visiting the cathedral was the only reason we came to visit. Turkish kitchen was loud and busy but they found us a table and we had good service and food.

This was quite possibly the best budget hotel we have stayed in. The room was clean with the bathroom free from grime and the usual 'seen better days' silicone everywhere! Plenty of space in the room to lounge with practical desk space. A varied selection for breakfast in, again, a clean environment. Staff are welcoming and friendly. We visit Peterborough a few times a year so this will certainly be our accommodation for the visits going forward.

This hotel is great value for money.Clean quiet rooms,comfortable beds and friendly helpful staff.Breakfast was great,they had good quality gluten free bread available. Will definitely come again if I am in Peterborough .They even allowed me to store my overnight bag after I had checked out as I was waiting for my car to be repaired
