Excellent breakfast buffet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We loved the under bed lighting that turns on when you need to visit the toilet during the night, it helps guide you there and back and then turns off, very good.

Price, cleanliness, spacious room

Everything. Yes it's old decor but the fitness area sauna steam room plungepool gym are outstanding this world. The staff are really happy and helpful

Perfect city centre location. Friendly and obliging staff.

The staff were friendly and helpful to the max. Breakfast had hot and cold offerings, including a wonderful fruit salad. The Imperial was a short walk to the Hoe; a slightly longer walk to downtown Plymouth. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and strong.

Amazing hotel. Rooms are big enough, clean, bathroom exceptional with shower and bath. Provided with all necessary for a comfortable stance, kettle, coffee, tea, milk, warm and cosy. Bed was bigger that I've ever seen. Swimming pool, hot tube, sauna, steam bath, was perfect. Changing rooms clean and with lockers to lock all your staff. Water temperature was perfect, and swimming pool was clean. Food is amazing, and breakfast was wonderful. Definetly a place I would recommend to everyone that is on that area. Staff very friendly, approachable, and welcoming. Loved this hotel.

The rooms were fresh and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely linen and toiletries. It was great to be so close to all the restaurants and areas to explore

We’ve just come back from another stay at Welbeck and honestly, it never misses. We go as often as we can because it’s one of those rare places that feels like slipping back into a favourite jumper — familiar, gorgeous, and impossibly relaxing. The food exceeded all expectations- every mouthful is full of inane flavours and is presented beautifully with real care and attention. The house itself is fabulous (we’re convinced it gets prettier every time), but it’s the people who make it special. The two Emilys and Luke were absolute stars — the kind of staff who make you feel like you’re being welcomed back by friends rather than checked into a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done with a smile, and they somehow managed to make our stay even better than the last one… which we didn’t think was possible. Already planning our next visit. Welbeck, stop being so irresistible. Mac and Fi ☺️

Great facilities, swimming pool

Great hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a lot better than expected. Built in casting in TV so can cast programmes etc from phone/tablet. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Plymouth.

Breakfast was excellent with good selection

Staff were fantastic. Location was ideal for all aspects of Plymouth. Food in the restaurant was excellent as were the views from the penthouse.

What an amazing hotel. Beautifully renovated to retain the original Victorian vibe. The room was excellent with an amazing large bath! I didn’t think Plymouth would have much happening in winter on a weeknight but I found Macro Pierre’s Steakhouse.
