Redruth, like some other Cornish towns is struggling.
Redruth, like some other Cornish towns is struggling. Lots of empty shops and charity shops. Close to the A30, so it’s easy to go north south east or west . No real eateries . The room was lacking of air conditioning and I had to open a big and wide window for air during the night. Unfortunately i cant rate the town of Redruth very high.this is due to how steep the main shopping street is. If you have mobility issues dont shop in Redruth. But once you manage to get to the top of the street there are buses that can take you on lovely journeys to places like Truro, Penzance and surrounding areas all for a fiver day ticket. Plus there is a train station if you fancy a train ride. Stayed in St Day, which was the perfect location to explore...
Stayed in St Day, which was the perfect location to explore wider Cornwall. I travelled out every day in all directions and the Road network was easy to navigate to get me around. There were plenty of options for having a great evening meal within a 5 mile radius of St Day. I enjoyed my stay here so much that I am planning on a return visit.
