Great shower. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Spotlessly clean. All staff were really helpful. Plenty of tea, coffee and good choice of biscuits in room.

Wow what can I say apart from this place is an absolute gem. We arrived at around. 2.30 pm and sat and had a drink in the garden while waiting for our room to be ready. We had a table booked for 7pm for evening meal which did not disappoint . The quality was outstanding and compliments to the chef. We absolutely loved our stay. Our room was stunning, the bed, bed linen and pillow were very comfortable which resulted in an amazing sleep.
James and Katie front of house very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Also big shout out to all other staff who where all amazing .
We will definitely return.

The location is amazing, in the centre of Reeth, on the side of the main square. We could see the New Year fireworks from the window. The flat is spacious, comfortable and clever: you can take off your muddy walking boots on the wooden floor and move into warmer soft surfaces. The heating is very good and flexible., the kitchen provides everything you may need but it is better to do the shopping in advance in Richmond.
Reeth is a perfect place for walks in the Swaledale, the northernmost dale of Yorkshire. The nature is beautiful all around you can find several historical places as well. The Little White Bus service helps in long linear walks.

•beautiful room - exceptionally clean
•dinner and breakfast delicious!
•fabulous views
I loved the decor, the facilities. The owners have added all those practical things that most places dont have - hooks for coats, hooks for clothes in the bathroom, mirrors with lights where needed, bedside tables and lamps, enough pillows for reading in bed. We used the walking maps provided to do lovely local walks. We ate great food in local pubs. The roads are quiet, the views are superb.

You couldn't beat the location of Tan Hill, right on the Pennine Way with stunning views and the most wonderful warm hospitality. Dog friendly and dogs are treated as kindly as their owners - they just loved them. Dog bed, dog bowl, poo bag and bag of dog biscuits waiting for her in our spotless room with a huge bed with crisp white sheets - it was just perfect and stress free, so relaxing and we slept well with our bellies full of a glorious Sunday roast after a short walk and some star gazing, it was awesome!!

Tan Hill Inn is a few miles out of Richmond.
Tan Hill Inn is a few miles out of Richmond. It is in a remote area surrounded by fells and beautiful countryside, alongside the Pennine Way. The area is ideal for cycling and walking; but we were with friends who are not able to walk far and we went for the scenery of the Yorkshire Dales and the very special atmosphere of the Tan Hill Inn. Richmond itself is a small market town which is very attractive and is a pleasant place to spend a few hours exploring the riverside and the castle.

The cottage was beautiful and the views from the back were amazing. It was so peaceful and gave you space and time to think. We watched the Pheasants and the rabbits in the field out back often which just relaxed you. There are plenty of DVDs and I mean PLENTY with upto date ones as well so don't worry about having something to do on an evening. We wanted to stay longer!
