Breakfast was good, staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very pretty and peaceful outdoor areas - helped by beautiful weather, but good indoor places to sit if it was inclement.

The bedroom and bathroom seemed nearly new ,very clean and modern. Service and staff very good as was the evening meal. Lovely old thatched pub in a small country village.

The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice nicely cooked.
A small town with big history! The Elizabethans, Stuarts, Georgians, Victorians and Edwardians have all left their own mark on the market town which is rightly proud of its history and appears to take care of it too.
Narrow historic streets and lanes are worth walking around due to eclectic mix of shops and dining places in amongst the usual high street names, barbers and nail bars.
A good base for nearby Cambridge, Duxford and surrounding countryside.

The photo made the room look more spacious than it actually was, there were too many things in such a small room, and items added since the photo was taken that made the room uncomfortable to use. Noting 8m in the offering did not translate as the photo.
The host is lovely and really would do well to buy a bigger place and transfer her skills there.
Royston itself is a sweet little town with everything within 5 minutes

Nobody at the Coach House when we arrived, waited 30 minutes for some one to be there. The room was not in the main building, it was clean but more like a motel in the middle of nowhere. They were not very friendly gave us the key to the room and that was it. We decided not to stay and booked a room at The Old Bull Inn in Royston. Royston was very good with a nice Park some good pubs and shops too. Our stay at the Old Bull Inn was perfect but tight for parking

We didn't actually visit the town of Royston and the Coach House Hotel is a bit off the beaten track but ideal for the Duxford Imperial War Museum and not too far from Audley End House, which was our main reason for choosing this hotel and the beautiful city of Cambridge is not too far away and a must see.

It looked a very pleasant place to visit with a nice park to wonder around in. The visit was for work so was too short to look around further.
Will probably go back and visit as part of a holiday in the future.

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and our room was ready early which was a bonus. The room itself was really spacious, with coffee and tea making facilities and complimentary water. The whole hotel was very clean with a good ambience and the bed was very comfortable which was great so we got a very good nights sleep after coming back late from a music gig at Audley End! The staff were all very pleasant and friendly.
Our stay was great! The room was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious- one of the best we’ve had recently. The hosts were really friendly. Good location from the centre of Royston, in walking distance - we were staying for a wedding nearby. Parking available outside for free. Bathroom was really clean and there was a separate toilet as well to the main bathroom so this wasn’t a problem.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we arrived a little early, on a snowy day and were made immediately welcome and the room was already prepared. This is obviously a hotel and restaurant used by the community as it hummed with life , despite the bad weather, making it a very pleasant stay.
Breakfast was very good, the hotel was just a few miles from Duxford which was great.
Its not far from the M 11 and a Petrol station across the road which is open 24 hours.
A big car park at the hotel.
The hotel has a big out door area for eating outside in good weather.
