Set in Ruthin and only 27 km from Bodelwyddan Castle, Private en-suite guestroom Ruthin offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking.

It's not a typical location but pleasant nonetheless. The facilities were excellent and totally self-contained. Shower room was well appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The radiator on the wall was also fit for purpose.

Vale View Glamping provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 28 km of Bodelwyddan Castle and 37 km of Chester Racecourse. The holiday home is 47 km from Delamere Forest.

The views were incredible with so much open space and sheep in the field in front. The hosts dog kept us company when we lit the barbecue and she was so sweet. The cabin was cosy and clean with everything we needed as well as free tea, coffee and sugar which was a nice touch. The hot tub was heated for us before we arrived and the host was very helpful, showing us where to go and how to use the hot tub.

Amazing historic Castle converted to a hotel a number of years ago. Right in the centre of the town, easy parking in the grounds. Beautiful grounds with peacocks. Very friendly welcoming staff. Room was large and bed very comfortable. Probably in need of some decoration/updating but didn't affect our overnight stay

The venue was perfect for the family wedding. Staff were very helpful. Rooms are very clean and all facilities provided. The town of Ruthin is a lovely little town and easy to find everything you need. A nice Weatherspoons and a few restaurants in town and a lovely family run coffee shop. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of hosting a family event.

Loved Ruthin Castle , great if you have a dog .

Loved Ruthin Castle , great if you have a dog . Tons of character in the building , staff were excellent as was the food . It’s an old building and could do with updating - but don’t let that put you off as it really is beautiful , yes could do with an update but I really lived it as it was and will definitely be going back . Grounds were lovely with lots of peacocks roaming .

a very pretty town with variety of small quaint shops but nothing worth stopping for a couple of hours. the indoor market on a Thursday is full of small local craft stalls and definitely worth a visit.

Ruthin is a very scenic and historic town.

Ruthin is a very scenic and historic town. But despite going there on a Saturday afternoon it was quite quiet and there were only a few stalls at the indoor market. Other shops had closed early. I'd heard that the cafe at the arts centre was an independent one, but when we went it was actually a Costa, which was a little disappointing. Went to church on Sunday morning at St Peter's and received a very warm welcome from Rev Luke and other congregants. Had takeaway from the Himalaya Indian (or perhaps Bangladeshi) restaurant, which was the best I'd ever tasted; full of rich complex flavours. I'd read reviews that the restaurant often gave additional dishes for free. This certainly proved to be the case. I was on my own so ordered a main dish (vegetable lemon chilli garlic masala to be precise!) and a rice but also got a lovely fluffy naan, three poppadom with salad and pickles, a dhal and three onion bhaji! All for free!

The communication with the owners is great regards checking in & out. 11am check out is later than a lot of other hotels/B&Bs. Fab central location with ( a free parking permit )parking literally 3 minutes away. Our room was modern, clean, well furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had an issue with the heating in our room, called Gavin and he sorted the problem promptly. We will definitely try and book The Manorhaus next time we stay in Ruthin.

It was cosy and central and super clean and suited our family of four perfectly.. all facilities were catered for and good communication with the owner. Silly things like shampoo and hand washes sweets on the towels and tea and coffee etc all there. This I expect from a hotel but not an air B&B. The little things make all the difference to your stay and central for Ruthin itself and the castle.
