Avoid staying at this hotel they took my money. I couldn’t cancel and then three hours later they told me there would be building works going on and I couldn’t use the car park. I had building what’s going on at my own house so it was pointless 730 in the morning there was banging right above my room. I couldn’t sleep couldn’t work and now they’re disputing it absolutely ridiculous how they can take someone’s money and then tell them hours later it’s nonrefundable and they’d be building what’s going on I went there to work and avoid building works at my own house. Totally pointless. The main customer service gave me a reference number which is now pointless as I will not be getting a refund I will be pursuing this, but I tell anyone to avoid staying there from reception was good though.
Set within 19 km of Stansted Mountfitchet Station and 29 km of Gants Hill, The Oasis Hotel offers rooms in Harlow.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the value for money was well ahead of my expectations. But to be clear, this was a very welcome value for money deal that was nice and comfortable but minimal. That said, I would be very happy to stay there again and I am happy to recommend this hotel.
Located 26 km from Stansted Airport and just minutes from the M11/M25, this refurbished 14th century former coaching inn now offers comfortable en suite accommodation in this quiet village.

Nice welcome. Beautiful hotel with lovely large room. We had a de luxe double. Lovely sun trap on the terrace. Barman was polite and friendly and made a nice cocktail. Wine was cooled to the right temperature.

The reception staff (Cathy) was unhelpful and bordering on rude. The barman told my adult son that my husband and I were "stupid" as we didn't know the currency and had to ask if we had given the correct coins. There was no early check-in available and no secure place to put your luggage while you waited for your room. When we walked to our room we passed a lot of dirty dishes left on the stairs. The room was tired with chipped paint on the walls and cupboards. Breakfast was okay but don't expect all the hot food options available at one time.
The water pressure was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful. The cab company recommended by the hotel was fantastic.

We love the location, Food and the relaxing facilities { ie: Pool,Sauna, Jacuzzi} that the Hotel offers.
However, we were given a Room in the Basement which had no Phone or WiFi reception, and a Fridge would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

Exactly as described- a cosy cottage - surrounded by farm buildings and lovely garden. The owner had provided a welcome pack of milk, bread, cheese, butter, fruit, wine, etc. which was fantastic. There are some country walks from the cottage or into Sawbridgeworth. A perfect place to stay while visiting family in Bishop's Stortford. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful working farm with the friendliest people (and dogs!). We loved that it was only a 15 min walk into Sawbridgeworth where we had an excellent dinner. Our hosts were helpful, provided local information including taxi companies so we could prebook for attending a wedding at Colville Hall - would really recommend a stay here.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to reception staff and the people who served our meal. It was my sons birthday and we had a lovely time. It was the first time we stayed at the hotel and I would do this again. The room was lovely too.
Lovely hotel with helpful courteous staff. Enjoyed the Health Club and had an excellent dinner and good breakfast. We had a four poster bed which we weren't expecting.
