Breakfast - I only wanted the Buffet breakfast and it was absolutely fine
Room - I had the single room which I thought ideal. Bed was excellent. Rather limited bathroom shelves, and I use my own products in the shower - nowhere to put them. I know there was a unit in the main bathroom but I like a shelf to put my things on. Also there was no magnifying mirror - not good.
Location - Couldn't be better.
Located right in Sidmouth’s Esplanade, in Devon, The Kingswood Hotel provides en suite accommodations with free WiFi. This contemporary hotel also offers a bar and a restaurant.

View of the sea, right next to the town. Perfect location. The room was cozy and very comfortable. Restaurant was great. Staff there were excellent.
Sitting on the Regency seafront with wonderful sea views, The Belmont Hotel - Adults Only is one of Sidmouth's popular 4-star hotels. It is a short level walk from the town center.

A faultless stay again and the ground floor room with a garden balcony was superb. The service from the staff and the extensive breakfast were faultless and we look forward to our next stay at Hunters Moon in this lovely part of Sidmouth and within easy reach of the seafront/town

Sidmouth is a very nice location. The town has many independent shops including an old department store, Fields, and plenty of cafes and coffee shops. It has a nice feel about it.
The seafront is very attractive and very pleasant to walk along the promenade.

We’ve been staying in Sidmouth for over 25 years as it’s such a lovely town with interesting independent shops and cafes and it’s a good base for exploring the area.
I recommend Fields the department store for good browsing, Paragon bookshop in the Main Street for quirky choices, and the Someday Something cafe in Church Street for wonderful scones.
It was our first stay at the Harbour Hotel and we’d definitely consider going back next time.

A lovely little town with quaint shops, including its own department store, a long wide promenade, plenty of places to eat or have coffee, impressive gardens, scenic cliffs, easy access to the spectacular coastal path, relaxing walks along the Byes path to Sidford and up Jacob's Ladder, a holiday spirit where you can mix with crowds or find solitude according to your taste.

I was only there for the weekend attending a surprise birthday party so wasn't doing the usual touristy things. However, I did manage to have a brief look round the town, which is nice, with lots of small independent shops and coffee shops.
The beach is mostly shingle.

Plenty of seating on the esplanade to sit and enjoy the view ,people very friendly .
I am a walker and enjoyed the coastal walking path which is very strenuous with lots of hills and steps with again lots of benches to enjoy the view and rest.

Nice shops, ice creams, fish and chips, good cafés, devon cream tea and pubs for lunch or a relaxing drink. Dog friendly. Sea walks and gardens with cafés are worth a visit overlooking the sea. Nice place to stay for a mini break. Nearly everywhere is on the flat so easy to get around good for disabled people and people with children in push chairs. Local cinema in the centre of town. Sidmouth folk festival is worth a visit in the summer.
There's a lot of things to do so you won't be bored. Enjoy!!

Had a lovely stay with my elderly mum . We had a twin with balcony which was very comfy and a large walk in shower . A good lift and lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful and hotel ideally positioned across from esplanade and right by town. Was ideal for an elderly person and loved sidmouth .
Most welcoming little hotel in a superb position for visiting Sidmouth. Excellent breakfast and the one evening meal we had was good. We felt it was good value for money particularly in August
It is not an hotel. It is a restaurant with rooms. Therefore it had limited facilities. We loved the quirky rooms and it’s position in Sidmouth. Very relaxed and the staff were delightful.
Very helpful staff. Beautiful gardens. Dog friendly. Different menu every day for dinner. Lots of 7kw electric points for cars.
Sidmouth is a very nice town.
