Everything was good.Free car parking.super quick check in.Beautiful hotel in market square. Lovely patio seating area.Food from sandwiches at lunch through to evening meal and breakfast was of superb quality. Room was large very comfortable super big bed with fab bathroom and shower.All parts of hotel spotlessly clean and all staff were extremely efficient friendly and helpful.. A real gem..

The Hollies is a beautifully decorated house within the most stunning village of Uppingham. Deborah is a faultless host, she ensures you have everything you need, breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. Waking up in a very comfortable bed hearing the birds chirping was just divine. You are 2 minutes from the town centre so location could not have been better.

The hotel is being refurbished. Our room was one that had been completed and was very clean and nice. There is still construction going on, but, I think it'll be a really nice hotel once completed.

It was incredible, We arrived early and were able to access our room as it had been cleaned but didnt have the 'cookies' in there. I gathered that maybe the 'cookies' hadnt been cooked at that stage but were delivered by the time we had finished lunch. The Old Pheasant is a Gem, tucked away in a small village, the building was originally built in 1750s and extended about 50 years ago. Okay here goes, the host is amazing, so meticulous in presentation and quality, you couldn't have asked for better accommodation and food. The evening waitress, I didnt get her name, was bright, bubbly and so helpful. Continental and full English breakfast is available, fluffy scrambled eggs, tasty sausages, perfectly cooked mushrooms, I could go on but I wont. If I lived in this country I would make regular visits to Glaston just to eat and sleep at The Old Pheasant. Thank you Bernard and staff for your hospitality
