Lots of parking space. Large bedroom & bathroom. Quiet location but convenient for wedding we were attending elsewhere. Good breakfast. Staff lovely.

Very convenient for our family to stay needed in the area. The staff were always pleasant and very welcoming. Nothing was too much and stop to help when asked.

Beautiful location, friendly helpful staff ( its Yorkshire after all). Excellent parking attractive grounds part of hotel is period 17C but there are later additions. The Jacobean pub is used for dining. We arrived on a Sunday but it was all ready totally booked up ( It does a very good Sunday lunch) So don’t assume you can use it at weekends without booking. We would rebook again if we were visiting in the area. It’s easy to get too if you are travelling on A1 Our room had a comfortable bed and was well fitted but in Period Style.

Breakfast was perfect and the service from Judy was second to none. Lisa the reception manager was also excellent. The room was extremely comfortable and the bed was heavenly. Thank you for the most wonderful stay.
