Evening meal and breakfast tasty and plentiful.. View from the conservatory dining area gorgeous, overlooking the garden and grounds, bluebellsin bloom.. Staff members fantastic, Peter is a great asset and welcoming, the hotel had a wonderful vibe, high end elegance but relaxed feel. Nothing too much trouble.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham offers accommodation next to a beautiful Anglican church. You’ll also find a shared lounge and garden to relax in.

The whole place is peaceful and beautiful. The room was very comfortable, with en-suite shower room. I asked at reception for an extra pillow and it was quickly provided. Breakfast was good - buffet style with everything one could want.
The gardens are lovely, especially as I was very fortunate with the weather during my stay. The carillons ringing out made a delightful sound.
The Shrine Church is very special, with a great deal to see and learn, as well as services held frequently.
Walsingham Abbey is only a few minutes walk away, and offers a wonderful step back into history with the museum there. The Abbey ruins are rather sad, but also majestic. The gardens are wonderful. When I visited the bluebells were just coming out.
Lunch at the Read And Digest Tearoom, situated between the Shrine and the Abbey, was delicious.
Wells-next-the-sea is an easy bus ride away and is well worth a visit. Alpaca trekking is available (see their website) and ambling along with an alpaca is a very pleasant hour or so.
A very restoring few days.

House was super clean and owners were super accommodating and helpful.
I made a mistake on the booking and they sorted it generously, efficiently and didn't
make any drama.
They answered our question very quickly and were very welcoming. House was
cozy even though it was February. We're all very happy and didn't want to leave.

This is the third time we have stayed in Wells next the Sea and we will definitely return.
It is peaceful and full of lovely independent cafes and shops.
You can walk both ways along the coastal path taking in beautiful views.

Good sandy beach. Fish and chip shops and amusements.
Good sandy beach. Fish and chip shops and amusements. Gets very busy in summer and difficult to park. Car parks expensive as if you want to visit the quay and the beach you have to pay for two car parks as they they are a long walk from each other.

Love Wells next the Sea, will return again.
Love Wells next the Sea, will return again. Great place if you have a dog as virtually all pubs and cafes are dog friendly. Great beach to exercise the dog.
The Globe Pub has excellent food. The Edinburgh pub and Ollies also really good value for money.

Wells is the perfect location for visiting the North Norfolk coast. It has everything you need for a great stay. The Coastliner bus is brilliant for getting around, enabling you to walk along the coast and get a ride back. This was our second stay in Wells and we will definitely be back.

Wells next the sea is a pretty seaside port town with a beach about a mile away. The shops are typically touristy, but nice to browse. There are many restaurants ( mostly serving fish in some guise). The main pubs are expensive but the pub at the top of the Main Street is good value and good meals! Wells is well placed for visiting the North Norfolk coast. Felbrigg house and Blickling hall are nearby ( check opening times before going). We had a very pleasant few days drifting, relaxing and frequent comfort breaks! The coastal bus passes through Wells.

Everything was clean and up to date. But mostly it was the view from both the french windows and the sitting room which are not clearly enough shown on the listing.
Photo attached taken in the winter morning at mid tide - Nice of them to arrange a stunning morning rainbow!
Otherwise convenient location and Wells Next the Sea is lovely. We walked out and along the beach , ate some great seafood and visited Holt, Blakeney and Sheringham , but lots to visit in this flat uncommerciialised part of the UK.
Central location in Wells Next the Sea was good. Lots of space in the house. Sitting room spacious and comfortable but smelled of damp. Bedrooms and bathroom clean.
I spoke to the owner to point out my concerns and they were well received but the owner is not on site to see what is happening in the house. I was reassured there was awareness of the damp problem and remedial work had taken place but it was obviously not adequate.
Everything about our stay was fantastic. A very warm welcome from David and his four legged friend.
Enjoyed the evening chatting and learning about the area with the host, his knowledge and gentle music made our stay just perfect.
Breakfast was more than above anything we could have expected.
Was a beautiful property in a wonderful location, walking distance to Wells Next The Sea.
Recommend it very highly.
The property was really easy to find in a great location close to everything! The hotel was very clean, very big and provided us with a fantastic night sleep. The lady in the morning was very efficient, got us coffee very quickly and was very happy, smiley end welcoming! The breakfast was lush and perfect for what we wanted that day! I would come again.
Avril the owner was an exceptional host. Her organisation, her clarity and details in what to do, how to do it, where to go, ....was amazing and her friendliness and availability to help us have a great time in Wells made our stay a success. I will certainly be returning to Avril's place on my next stay in Wells Next the Sea.
The breakfast is exceptional with so many little extras, eg fried potatoes and optional fried bread and black pudding. Great to have somewhere in Wells next the sea with on site parking. The staff really took a genuine interest in what we were doing and planned to do.
Fantastic little gem of a hotel, staff incredibly friendly and accommodating, great food, great atmosphere, great room (we were in The Attic). Will definitely choose Bang In The Wells again next time we’re up that way, perfect getaway for a couple of nights :-)
The hotel is centrally located in the town so close to all the restaurants, shops and pubs. The room and wet room where spacious, clean, comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a continental buffet with lots of choice.
Modern, clean, spacious and perfectly located to visit Wells next the sea. Landlord were very friendly and kindly let us check out an hour or so later as the weather turned terrible. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a great experience.
Spacious well equipped modern apartment. Well placed for a very short walk to the centre of Wells next the Sea. Very comfortable all round. Complete control over our heating system by remote handset a very good feature.
