The Hotel is located on the high street in the centre of Dunster , offering easy access by foot to the village and castle .
We opted for an evening meal which along with the breakfast were very well presented and great food .
The Yarn hotel offered good value for money compared with local hotels .

As we visited during the final week of lockdown, we could not enjoy the local pubs etc in the area. There are many places of interest within a few miles of the accommodation. You can walk many of the bridle ways etc directly from the apartment. It would have been great to stay longer but due to other commitments we had to return after a few days. You can easily spend a week meandering the many walks and bridleways in this beautiful area.

Particularly good for walkers, our car remained on the car park throughout the 4 days we were there as we could walk straight from the door. Dunkery Beacon, Horner Woods, Dunster and the area around Selworthy all excellent walking. We ate every evening in the hotel and the meals were of an extremely high standard [I worked as a chef for many years]. If visitors want to go sightseeing, there are many local places of interest, our favourite is Dunster.
