Batumi is not a city - it's an attraction.
Batumi is not a city - it's an attraction. Everything is made for tourists and for wow-effect. People, free from soviet architectural principles and with new found money let their imaginations run wild and it resulted in a sort of perverted Disneyland, with funky buildings, tons of services and overall feeling of a funfair. It is a great experience to be here, but only once, while wow-effect still works. As for what's near Batumi - to the south are some exceptionally beautiful mountains, and to the north - great small towns for beach leisure. Also make sure to visit the Botanical Garden.

Reluctant to provide service, they even lied to us twice, we took 2 rooms, they changed rooms for us in the middle of the holiday against our will, and said they would give us time to move things and in the end they wanted us to leave the room and wait two hours outside with luggage until we received the changed room, beware of them, (especially from ANA floor 4 block A ).
