The renovated room was terrific. Comfortable bed, nicely laid out bathroom, extremely quiet. The pool area with bar is very nice. We were not able to take advantage of the restaurant, which looked nice, but they arranged for breakfast box for us for the early AM, which was unremarkable.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were given a brief history of the property and a tour of the grounds and facilities. The property is very pretty and peaceful. We loved having breakfast on the terrace surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. The breakfast was great with lots of options.

My stay at The Calliston was wonderful in every way!!! The location is incredible, and the hotel has everything you need! Most importantly every single staff member was so kind and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful stay. I would choose to stay here every time I visit Corfu!

Depending what you want from a holiday, Corfu has a lot of good things about it. It's maybe a bit quiet if you want a lot of culture, museums, galleries etc, but the few that is has are good. If you want beaches, it's great obviously!

Not the typical island town a non-Greek would have in mind.
Not the typical island town a non-Greek would have in mind. Resembles Italian village of the south. Built on the coast allows for beautiful views all around. One can find good food in various spots in town or neighboring villages, but tourism has destroyed culinary traditions, and they need to be discovered. The landscape is absolutely green and beautiful.

We visited during Easter time and the whole experience with the impressive philharmonic bands and traditional events were amazing. The town is beautiful and very picturesque with many historical attractions to visit and many beaches to swim close by. The food is also good with many traditional dishes like Sofrito that we really enjoyed.

Corfu is so lovely - we suggest visiting in May. The weather is lovely, all of the small towns are fully open and yet you're not in the crazy busy season. Explore the beaches! and definitely eat at Lampadina in Old Town Corfu. It was our favorite restaurant in our entire 2 week adventure in Greece - the food is incredible. Our favorite beaches were on the South End and Acharavi Bay. We ran out time to visit the rest of the beaches, there is so much to explore!

It's a shame that we visited Corfu as our last stop after nearly three months in Greece. We've so enjoyed our time in the country but Corfu is not an experience we'd like to remember. The old town is not unpleasant, but we dearly wish we'd not come, and spent our time elsewhere.

The Old Town is a lively and interesting place, with lots of great places to eat, very friendly people and and fascinating and delightful cultural activities - traditional local dances in full and varied national costumes, music, and the Venice style Carmival.

The hotel has had a revamp from when we were last there and is very smart and stylishly designed. The hotel staff, in particular at reception, are always very welcoming and friendly. The hotel couldn’t be in a better location and is a very short walking distance to all the best places in Corfu town. There is also a taxi rank outside which makes it very easy to get to the airport which is less than 10 minutes away.
We liked everything about this boutique accommodation. The staff was incredibly friendly, they made us Greek omelet for breakfast, they told us the best places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The room was clean and comfy. We had bottled water throughout our stay and the AC was great. Best value for money. It is in the heart of the old city within walking distance of everything.
Dora the hostess was there to meet us and was very welcoming providing recommendations for places to eat etc. The facilities were on the same level as a 5 star hotel. The property was beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Dora’s eye for detail was evident in the furnishings she had picked to show the detail and the history of the apartment at it’s best.
Elegant, attractive, modern, fresh, comfortable and well located. A perfect alternative to hotel accommodation. Easy to access. Within very short walking distance to the best that Corfu Town has to offer.
The apartment is located beautifully with amazing view on the Old Town. The place was perfectly cleaned and very well equipped (like a 5 star hotel, no joke). The owner is very lovely and amazing person!
