It depends on what you want. Parts are aimed at tourists. But it's worth a wander. The old town is worth a half day. There are sufficient good restaurants, especially at the top end of the pedestrian are that's worth a visit. Restaurants and bars are competitive so prices are vert reasonable. Kos Town offers a great balance of beach, buzzy bars/restaurants and culture. You have the option to spend a day at the beach, go on the 3 Island Boat Trip, explore the lovely shops of Kos Town or the Agora or Odeon. We've also visited the Asclepieion and Zia so you won't be short of variety or things to do. We particulary liked hiring bikes (5 Euros a bike) and cycling to Psalidi and then the other way towards Tingaki - cycling lanes make it a safe experience.Guest review byMartinUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Small island with a lot to see and experience. Public transport was easy to use and there were also lot of affordable excursions to take on the island and in the neighbouring islands. Kos Town is very nice and cozy. There are a lot of nice restaurants and bars, including beach clubs where you can enjoy your day. Departing from there you can also find some tours and it is easy to explore other parts of the islandGuest review byLucasBrazil
