Perivolos has the best beach I've seen in Santorini.
Perivolos has the best beach I've seen in Santorini. It is sandy and doesn't have any big stones on the entrance to the water. It gets very deep in the water very fast. There are many lovely bars and restaurants, and it is easy to reach either by car or by bus from Fira. Quite place in mid september. Beach is made of black volcanic sands. Open view. Water is amazing. A row of small restaurants and bar on both sides of the street, so you can have your cocktail on the beach

Great relaxing vibe. Wonderful food & drinks at reasonable prices. Great beach which is deep as soon as you walk in. Perfect weather & water temperatures in August when we stayed there. A massage on the beach was WONDERFUL. Food & drinks service from your sunbed. The black sand didn't bother me, at least it has sand and not stones & rocks!CherylAustralia - 10Scored 10
Perivolos is a good place if you want to be close to the...
Perivolos is a good place if you want to be close to the beach and in a quiet area. But there are not many shops around that you can walk to quickly, so a car is needed to get to bigger supermarkets and bakeries. It's possible to take the bus to Fira but can be very crowded. You can book taxis to get around but they are not cheap, 35-40 euros one way to Fira.

Other than the beach which we did not like and the restaurants right out the back of the hotel, there was nothing you can walk to. We had to take car service wherever we wanted to go. We spent a lot of money on cars.

Amazing hospitality by Maria the manager..Very cosy place. Beach is just around the corner. The beautiful TA Kavourakia tavern where we had our incredible breakfast and a lots of laughs with Efi ,Giannis and Panos.

Perissa/Perivolos is the best place to stay on Santorini. More relaxed, great food and drink, lots nearby. The hotel had a connection with a restaurant that provided free sunbeds and had great food. Rented an ATV in town to sightsee around the island. Parking was free. Shuttles were not free but was affordable and arranged through the hotel and the service was great. Location is not so convinient without a car (if you would like to sightseeing a lot and spend time not only near the pool or on the beach), however it is worth to rent it for a day or three and spend holiday in Nostos. The manager or owner is quite nice and a sweetheart, he is like a bouncer for the hotel and the rental chairs on beach. I rented an umbrella, two chairs and a table for 12 euro. that’s the cheapest you’ll get and it’s very peaceful and so worth it. The room was super quaint with stonework I have never seen before as the bed frame, along with, the bench near bed. can’t say enough good things. also, loves the balcony to sit outside and enjoy the breeze and listen to the waves at night!JenniferUnited States

The Hotel is 8 minutes walking where there is the bus stop with air conditioning that takes you to Fira for €2.60, then there you take another bus to Oia for €1.20 and from there you can go to the Airport by €1.20 ... the bus stop is called Perivolos Beach. Resort pools very good.
