Best old town ever! The biggest in Europe! Its walls are 12 km long! It offers everything for everyone, no matter what you're looking for. The new town is also lovely, beaches too (and many!) Very good local companies to send you everywhere you want. We order local excursions on the website "Get Your Guide" for all our trips. Busy town lots of restaurants. The medieval part was interesting and lovely. I hired an electric bike which was great but a little nerve wrecking, got a bit lost and couldn’t hear my phone but was ok. I must say the traffic was very friendly seeing me looking a bit lost and not knowing how the traffic works. It's a strong tourist area (without the hype of islands over burdened by the hoardes such as Mykonos, Santorini, Ios, Paros) & gets very busy daily with the passengers off cruise vessels that do the Greek islands circuit; merry-go-round. We had rented a car at the airport and were at the apartment within minutes. Rhodes Town was also very easy to get to. We also found it ideal that we could order breakfast, lunch and dinner from local restaurants whenever we wanted. The apartment was also fully equipped and very clean! We loved the jacuzzi.
