Excellent location if you're looking for a hotel in Lantau Island, near the airport and Disneyland HK. My room had a great view of the and was clean and spacious. Also appreciate the free shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel has a good selection of restaurants and more options just across the street, including convenience stores.

- Love the space. Very few places in HK offer this much space and value. Not even the other Shama around HK. - Getting to Admiralty via MTR from the front door of the property was 15 minutes, we timed it. - Amenities were brilliant, our upgraded room had a washer and dryer. - The gym downstairs was great (if a little small) and the shared kitchen is a great idea for those who wish to cook - Southside mall is close by as well as Circle K and 7/11 at the MTR station which is 2 minutes away and is accessible directly via the footbridge outside. - The staff were very helpful, when our original room had an issue they immediately resolved it for us. - The wonderful house keeping staff too - If you like noodles and fresh coffee there is a cafe and noodle joint next to the lobby area. - The bathroom soaps smelt great. - Shower pressure was good. - Lots of natural light via floor to ceiling windows. - Wireless phone chargers next to bed - Plenty of hiking spots right around the corner - Ocean park is one MTR stop away - The property was kind enough to store our luggage while we’re away in Taiwan for the week.

FAQs about hotels in Hong Kong

Style Amidst the Skyscrapers

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.

Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.

Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.

Sight seeing was great, Macau and Disneyland was the best

Sight seeing was great, Macau and Disneyland was the best What I did not like was the culture, people were unhelpful, on the bus or in trains they wouldn't sit next to us, if you sit, they would move, not sure if it's because of our skin colour. they wouldn't even help with directions even my kids were uncomfortable, I would never visit Hong Kong again

Get an oyster card for Public transport, best way to get around. Can use in shops also. Take umbrellas, waterproof, if rains a lot. Visit south of the island for scenery and beaches. Be prepared for high humidity levels. Have cash as well as card, taxis generally want cash. Have Google translate on your phone as English is not always spoken . Best restaurant we ate in FRITES at north point.

My trip to Hong Kong was one of the best holidays I have ever had. I have traveled around Europe, but Hong Kong is my favorite destination. The beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and cleanliness stand out. There are no hooligans or drunken people wandering around and causing a nuisance. Additionally, there is a wide choice of restaurants, street food, and markets. The daytime entertainment is endless, and the people are incredibly friendly.

This is my 2nd trip to Hong Kong.

This is my 2nd trip to Hong Kong. We enjoyed the sightseeing by public transport and one with guided tour. Our favorite spot may be the Peak. We ate at many restaurants and some of them are just local food court which is nice and not too expensive. The city is connected with many public transportations, you wont get lost there - just prepare the Octopus card ahead of time. I took long walks around the city, definitely the city is not for weak knees if you decide to walk. We also enjoyed Hongkong Palace Museum (in my view a MUST) and Dr. Sun Yat Sen Museum (for those who are interested for history, this is a nice visit). The city is very hot during June so dress properly.

Hong Kong is a world-favourite destination, with lots of variety and great food. Most attractions are famous. There is a lot of forested park area away from the Victoria Island and Kowloon high-rise zones. I love cruising on the public ferries serving assorted islands, and riding the double-deck trams, and to Victoria Peak. A new attraction is Tai Kwun: the former police barracks turned into a cultural centre, accessed by the first three stages of the Central escalator set. I use it mainly as a transit port, and pick a different selection with each stopover, and not one of the nine which this site wants rated. The downside: hot and humid, with a typhoon season.

I have stayed at Nina Hotel Causeway Bay before, and it is my go-to hotel in Hong Kong. The location is great, right next to Tin Hau MTR station, and the neighbourhood has lots of great eats, nearby 24-hr gyms, and is generally charming and less hectic in comparison with Central or Sheung Wan (I often also stay in Sheung Wan, and also recommend that neighbourhood). Will likely return to Nina Hotel later this year.
