We stayed at this hotel in the central Wan Chai area, located above Hop Well Mall, and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent from check-in onwards—the staff at the lobby, restaurant, and housekeeping were all professional and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-designed, with a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast was outstanding! A wide and high-quality selection, including bread, cheeses, salads, eggs, muesli, cakes, coffee, soups, and Asian dishes. A truly luxurious breakfast. One of the great advantages of this hotel is its direct access to the mall, which is very convenient. There’s also a supermarket inside, which was really useful. The only downside is the access to the hotel—you need to take an elevator to the 3rd floor and then switch to another elevator to reach the lobby on the 19th floor. Once you understand the way, it’s not really an issue. We had a great stay and will definitely return!

FAQs about hotels in Hong Kong

Style Amidst the Skyscrapers

One of the world’s busiest and most populated cities, Hong Kong is best-known for its stunning skyline with over 1,200 skyscrapers and its “East meets West” cultural mix. With architecture and interior design influenced by feng shui and modern technology, this city is truly unique.

Hong Kong offers plenty of interesting city and thematic tours, ranging from cuisine-oriented, to architecture or nature. The latter is particularly fascinating as Hong Kong has many amazing mountain landscapes, marine parks and the Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island is only a ferry ride away.

Kowloon is a busy urban center near Victoria Harbor, where ferries are an excellent choice to see just how tall Hong Kong's buildings actually are. Excellent tax-free shopping can be found in high-class malls, boutiques and street markets.

Hong Kongs’ unique cultural fusion is clearly seen, tasted and heard in the local food, like dim sum from Maxim's Palace or hot pot from street vendors complimented local Cantopop music in the background.

Arriving at Hong Kong International Airport you’re only a short trip from the city center. Whether you’re staying in a chic hotel or a budget hostel, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for a holiday in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is an incredible city as a tourist or for doing business. The Mongkok area is great for exploring and finding amazing foods. Paying for things can be a little tricky requiring an octopus card but once acquired, you're all set! Hardly anywhere accepts apple pay, credit cards so either load Wechat pay or alipay on your phone - and stay charged! metro is super easy to navigate too.

Hong Kong is simply "the place", it is beyond expectation, the people, the food, the overall "order" f everything made me feel at home and very comfortable. Morning walks for coffee are grand, the waterfront always leaves me speechless, and the variety of things to do is unbelieable.

We always enjoy HK as a layover point on the way to Europe and we have visited regularly. Its is very easy to get to the centre of the island from the airport by uber | taxi or the very efficient airport express , if you just have carry on. This time we went to Shenzhen for the day to see Robotics . That is a very worthwhile trip . The entry to Shenzhen by the east rail line from Admiralty station to Futian was very easy. Of course the food is wonderful and there are numerous areas to visit, such as Stanley on the the other side , the other small islands, Guangzhou and Macao.

Hong Kong absolutely blew us away.

Hong Kong absolutely blew us away. It’s an incredible city with endless things to do, from world‑class attractions to hidden local gems around every corner. The shopping was fantastic—modern malls, lively street markets, and unique boutiques everywhere you turn. And the food… unbelievable. There’s so much variety, from delicious street snacks to amazing restaurants serving every cuisine you can imagine. We loved every moment here. Hong Kong is vibrant, exciting, and full of energy, yet still easy to explore and enjoy. We can’t wait to come back.

I like monkok there’s a lot of foods like fruits, snacks, beef jerky etc. the prices is cheap compare to other stores.. there’s a lot of supermarket & malls around Monkok.. lastly,, im disappointed in the international airport of hongkong because, u have to wait a long line to use the restroom.. after that when we we’re about to checkin the baggage the officer there is to annoying I don’t knw what she is saying or questioning about my bag I don’t understand what is she’s talking about.. but to make it short story.. they are not friendly they even not smile,😊 always angry face 😡 even if they asking questions 2 u! There voice is to loud like shouting @u.. nxt time try to approach nicely if there’s a problem or questions about the baggage or hand carry of all the passengers… don’t shout! on us especially we don’t understand ur English..

I love Hong Kong and visit it on a regular basis.

I love Hong Kong and visit it on a regular basis. The transport in Hong Kong is easy to use once you know your way around. I live on the mainland and come to Hong Kong on the High Speed Train directly into Kowloon, and its my favourite way to travel into Hong Kong. I like to visit many of the districts in Hong Kong as each has its own individual character.

The location is very nice, close to everything. I like their water in the shower, it's really fun, the water is strong, enjoy taking a bath, this is one of the things I look for in a hotel, the water in the shower is strong. I will definitely book here again when I return to Hong Kong. It's great to shop. Everything in the Causeway Bay area is here, including the Skye rooftop. Their view is beautiful, like Victoria Peak.

The location was superb for us, situated on Nathan road and within such a short walking distance to the Star Ferry to cross over to Hong Kong Island. Close to the water and perfect for watching the evening light show. The central location made it very easy to get about Kowloon and many restaurants and great shopping in the immediate vicinity. Hotel staff super helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
