We picked Hotel Carmen fundamentally for the Yugoslav architecture. I am an architect so that was interesting for us and a key reason we wanted to experience the hotel (understanding the drawbacks from the other reviews). We had a nice top floor room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. I think the view from here are better than the newer/other hotel where you do dinner/check in. Enjoyed watching the sunrise over the channel and harbor. Loved having our little patio to relax on. Liked all the period architecture details.
Staying on the island was a definite win. You can see the island before the crowds from the boats come and then stay later as well. We loved riding bikes around the island and exploring. Liked that we also get 1x round trip on the boat to the mainland each day so we did one afternoon in Pula. We thought staying on the island was a great choice.
The family-run Heritage Hotel Chersin is located in the old center of the small fishing town Fažana, opposite the Brijuni Islands National Park.

Lovely small hotel in the perfect location. Quiet rooms, but just steps away from the waterfront and town activities. Breakfast was very good, and the staff cordial and accommodating.

It's a great place to stay for a vacation. The great location of the property is in the middle between the beach and the supermarket. Both are in 5 minutes walk. In 10 minutes you can reach the city center and port.
Very friendly personal, always ready to help with some extra requests.
Tasty homemade breakfast, which takes place in a cozy garden.

The location of the villa is great. The sea was warm and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was superb and quiet in the night. The airflow was very mild. We loved the ice machine in the hallway.

Fažana is a charming, small town adjacent to the city of Pula. It boasts beautiful pebble beaches and offers ferry access to a nearby national park. The larger city of Pula is a convenient 10-minute drive away.

Fažana is a charming and cozy town that I thoroughly enjoyed. It's a lovely little place with bakeries, restaurants, and shops where you can find local delights. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to explore on foot. If you're looking to simply wander around and soak in the ambiance, you can easily cover the main attractions in about 40-60 minutes. Additionally, there's a paid parking area nearby, which is convenient if you're arriving by car. Overall, Fažana is a nice mix of amenities and a laid-back vibe.

Excursions to Brijuni Island start from the marina. Higly recommended to visit the island with a guided tour.

Fazana is the starting point for visiting Brijuni islands. There are several restaurants that serve seafood which is fresh from the sea. It is small town so you will get around easily. I was very suprised to see Mate Parlov monument.

Fazana offers many opportunities to relax and enjoy. Either laying down on the beach and swimming in the clear water or take some boats to visit the islands nearby. The good restaurants on the side of the beach are worth visiting.

Fažana was the best place we visited in Croatia, regarding the fact that we were traveling for a few years now with our families. Water is great, accomodations are very good. A very nice place to stay with your family and kids.

Pretty sure this is the best place to stay in Fazana. It's probably the first time I'm saying this, but in reality it looked way better than on the photos. Very spacious and clean. We had the superior room with a private parking spot and a nice balcony. It had all the amenities and was definitely worth the extra money.
The place is perfectly located - quiet but still close to everything.
Moreover the owner (Sandi) and his employee seemed like genuinely nice and laid back people.
10/10.
Great location, peaceful and close to the beach. Very clean and tidy pet friendly apartment with everything that you need (big fridg, dishwasher, washing mashine, smart TV., air conditioner...). Terrace with perfect view of National park Brijuni and center of Fazana. There is a number of very good restaurants in a walking distance and location is also great for exploring surrounding by a car. You can enjoy in a quiet stay or go out. We really enjoyed it.
Nice and newly renovated apartment near the sea and also a short distance from the center of Fazana. The living room and main bedroom is equipped with air conditioning.
