A very nice little mediterranian town, with medieval buildings, a nice harbour and a few good restaurants. It has a vey nice atmosphere, a bit on the quite side ( but it was off-season). Extremely clean!

Krk is the perfect example that the most beautiful, romantic, and livable seaside towns—rich in history and atmosphere—can be found not only on the Italian coast so often promoted by pop culture, but also further north. Krk ranks among the most stunning destinations along the Adriatic Sea. In summer, the sea is warm and crystal-clear, perfect for swimming; and in the evening, the old town comes alive with shops, excellent cuisine, and friendly locals. Unlike many mainstream western seaside towns that feel more like display models, Krk is a genuinely livable, family-friendly holiday destination, boasting ultra-modern infrastructure and a well-developed hypermarket center. Krk is a lovely town with a great variety of beaches. If you don’t mind walking a little, you can find something for every taste — from convenient city beaches with cafés nearby to more peaceful and wild spots. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the sea.

For travelling by car with a family, this is an ideal destination. The roads are good, and there are many beautiful beaches, each with its own unique natural character. The only downside may be the single access route to the island, which can easily become congested, but that is simply part of travelling to islands.

Very pretty historic town with shingle beaches nearby. Quite touristy but still has a lot of charm. The castle and the cathedral are both worth visiting. The restaurants are decent and we had polite, friendly and efficient service at every one we went too.

The apartment was more spacious than expected from the photos and the kitchen was very well equipped. We had a fantastic stay here, within walking distance of the Krk old town and next to a beautiful cove. Excellent walking nearby with beautiful views. The host was also very accommodating and helpful with an issue with the flat, getting repairs done the same day. We would stay here again without a doubt.

Quiet location overlooking Krk town. Easy walk into town for restaurants and coastal path. Close to supermarket. Mile was good host who met us, showed us around the apartment and gave directions to local attractions.

The location is right in the center of Krk city. Then there's the pool which makes you not want to go to the beach. And lastly, the owner is super nice. Made us all gin tonics one evening.
