Navis is a boutique hotel with only 44-rooms. We stayed in a 1-bed suite on the 4th floor which is the top floor. The room is spacious, has a king-size bed, industrial modern style furnishings and an outstanding view of the sea. We had a bottle of Prosecco, water and a lovely bowl of assorted fruit awaiting for us in the room. I chose to include breakfast with our stay and it was incredible. In addition to the breakfast buffet options like bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, assorted juices, coffee/cappuccino fruit cups, prosecco, etc. Navis offers a separate menu with prepared to order options like omelettes, Eggs Benedict, avocado toast, sausage, etc. also included. See menu photos I included in my review. Breakfast is incredible and the chef/kitchen is very accommodating in creating options for dietary restricted guests. We had two vegans out of five people in our group and both were happy with the dinner meals that were prepared for them and the food available for them at breakfast. Lastly, which was pretty cool, our family in Croatia was able to pick us up in their boat from the Navis dock. What was truly impressive is a Navis staff person came down from the hotel to assist with guiding the boat to the dock and lend a hand getting us into the boat safely.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and the lady making eggs and pancakes was very nice and friendly. Helped me to figure a couple things out. Should should be given a raise. The hours breakfast was served was perfect. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful and the staff parking cars was very efficient.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Bevanda in Opatija. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. A Tiny Croatian Town with An Austrian Twist

Opatija is a lively and popular tourist destination which offers sandy beaches and some of the most stunning coastal views in Croatia, evident while strolling along its lovely seaside promenade Lungomare.

the checking was extremely complicated. They charged money that they could no reinbuse when leaving the hotel. Instead of charging one time they did it canceling previous deposits, charging again, and the asking me to wait up to 10 days to reinburse. Made no sense what so ever.

What I like the most is lungomare.

What I like the most is lungomare. This is a walking path just above the sea from Opatija to Lovran long 12km. It is a beautiful path to walk with a constant view to the sea. Also plenty of restaurants in Opatija. All kinds.

Opatija is a well known touristic location with a long tradition and one can see and feel it everywhere. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants at the terraces or in the garden, many with the sea view. The famous seaside walking path is very long and beautiful. Convenient for walking or jogging. We walked to Volosko in direction of Rijeka and to beautiful Lovran in direction of Trieste. Along the way there are nice places to rest and take photos with sea backdrop. We particularly liked the terrace of the Kvarner hotel. Right in the centre, yet tranquil and relaxing. The prices at the cafe were very fair. A tip for people with vehicles - we stayed in April and were advised to park the car in Lovran where parking was free. The price in Opatija is EUR 25 per day. Opatija is a great choice for spring, early summer and fall. It might be too crowded in summertime. Apart from Kvarner hotel terrace, I would recommend Tabu Lounge Bar on the Franz Joseph I promenade in direction to Lovran, Ružmarin restaurant and Keight Hotel Rooftop Lounge Bar.

Opatija is wonderful.

Opatija is wonderful. While I cannot comment on the high season, we visited during the spring and autumn shoulder seasons. The mild climate allows for long walks, and the cafés invite you to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Simply lovely.

Opatija is a charming coastal town with a special atmosphere, especially during Advent. I really enjoyed the Advent Park, the long seaside promenade perfect for relaxing walks, and the many small, interesting boutiques and cozy cafés. The streets are beautiful, elegant, and full of character, making the city ideal for both slow exploration and romantic strolls.

A very nice town and the coast line offers much to explore. The downside is how to get there - I had to fly from Trieste and all travellers struggled to find a nearby airport that connects to convenient departure airports.

Beautiful hotel in a great location right on the beach. There is parking available within the hotel for a fee. Excellent breakfast for everyone's taste. Friendly staff who are always smiling and ready to help. Of all the hotels along the beach, this hotel has the best arranged and organized beach. All praise for the hotel. I would definitely come back again.

This was my first time visiting Opatija and I chose Plaza Apartments following a recommendation from a friend. It did not disappoint. It is in the perfect location, nice and secure and is modern and feels clean. The staff were extremely accomodating with parking and even a late checkout. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Opatija! You cannot go wrong.
