Great place to stay, free parking is a total plus, it facilitates everything, is hard to park in Pula in high season or special weekends, so consider that the price of safe parking slot is included here. The location is very good, the apartment is great, clean, and comfy.

Pula has been drawing visitors to its sunny shores since Roman times. Many an empire fought over its strategic Istrian Peninsula location, but thankfully they left its monuments largely intact. None is more impressive than huge Pula Arena, a Roman amphitheatre just back from the port.
The Temple of Rome and Augustus is a wall from another temple has been incorporated into the 10th-century Communal Palace on the cobbled square which occupies the site of the former Roman forum. The Arch of Sergii was a triumphal memorial and the Twin Gates and nearby Gate of Hercules provided access through the Roman walls.
Today’s walls are medieval and skirt a hill topped with a Venetian castle housing the Istrian History Museum. Halfway up are the Roman theatre remains, accessible via Pula Archaeological Museum.
The 6th-century Basilica of St Mary Formosa has mosaics similar to those in Ravenna across the Adriatic and Pula Cathedral was originally from the same century, but got rebuilt over 800 years later.
For many though, Pula’s wonderful beaches and turquoise seas are the biggest attractions. Its undulating coastline is peppered with luxury hotels, resorts and cheap apartments on Booking.com, all easily accessible from Pula Airport. Some look towards the Brijuni National Park islands whose waters offer some great diving spots.

Pula is a beautiful city with great history, shops and easy to get around. It also isn't too far from lovely beaches and is easy to get to other towns via the bus services and there is also a ferry. A day bus ticket costs just 4 Euros per person which is very helpful.
The only negative was that they do not really cater for vegetarians and even the sandwiches have meat in them. Equally, it was hard to find restaurants that offered good quality food at reasonable prices. Also, be careful to not get 'stung' by the price of the soft drinks - they can often cost more than the local beer!
Zerostrasse with the underground tunnels and entry to the castle is around 7 Euros and worth a visit. The views from the castle walls over the Adriatic Sea are amazing. I also loved the poppies in the castle grounds!

The city has a relaxed Mediterranean vibe with a twist of Teutonic sensibility. Drinking your morning espresso on one the many public squares was a pleasure. Most of the historic attractions are off the cobbled streets - no litter, no one trying to sell you stuff you don't want - a pleasure to wander through. Pula is a safe, well kept city with a great bus service to the nearby beach areas. The coastal beaches are definitely worth the 2euro bus fare.

Pula is a small town so easy to get round. Plenty of places for coffee and snacks and lovely restaurants at good prices. The pace was slow which suited us. Ideal location to get out into the country side.

The proprietors were extremely amenable and lent assistance whenever it was required. The accommodation has an authentic Croatian feel to it and comes complete with all mod cons. It is in a prime location, situated very near local amenities and the Roman Arena. I found it to be ideal for the sole traveler.
Modern ground floor apartment with lots off nice touches, basic condiments, oil to hand. Television able to be used by your subscription apps & many English channels with Croatian subs.
It's a 30min walk into Pula Arena, but there are regular buses starting from the Mall.
Even has a washing machine.
It Was very very very clean and cozy. I have never seen that clean apartament in Croatia. Very modern. Everything Was perfect. You have only 20 minutes to old city and beach but you can use also bus only few meters from apartment.
The location could not have been better, it’s right on the Main Street yet quiet and a little off. The host was gracious and generous and the apartment really clean. Best place we’ve stayed in croatia!
The locality was great near the beach, near bakery and small shops, little further from the city itself though. AC was awesome idea and should be necessity in Croatian houses.
