Everything was wonderful, clean, pleasant and quiet.
The hotel is in perfect position, near the Jewish ghetto and close to bus stations, trains and trams.
Close to shops and restaurants (especially for people who keep Kosher food).
The facilities for a jewish religious family were very good for Saturday needs, and we appreciated it very much!.

With a dome reminiscent of Brunelleschi’s "The Duomo" in Florence, the Hungarian parliament building is undoubtedly the icon of Budapest. It sits majestically by the Danube, the river that both divides and unifies the 2 parts of this capital city: Buda and Pest.
Overseeing Budapest from its vantage point on Castle Hill is Buda Castle. Spectacularly lit at night, it offers the best views across this attractive city steeped in World Heritage. Some unique points of interest are Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror, reminders of the city’s more turbulent past.
Much like in Vienna further up the Danube, coffee and cake is practically an institution in Budapest. And there’s nowhere better to try this than Gerbeaud - the elaborate décor alone makes this café well worth a visit.
To really feel like a local, make a trip to the thermal baths. The relaxed Gellért Baths are a triumph of Art Nouveau grandeur, while based on their sheer size, you can't miss the outdoor Széchenyi Baths. If unusual nightlife is your thing, the club nights at these baths are great fun.
With an impressive range of Budapest hotels, apartments and hostels on offer in this city of 2 halves, Booking.com makes your choice completely easy.

You can get round the city/sights on foot if you don't mind a good walk. 3 days is probably enough to get around. If using public transport be sure to validate your ticket before you get on or face a fine.
Hungarian food is a bit different, if you're not too fussy then you'll always find something but fish in a restaurant is quite rare.
Take a train to Szentendre, quant little town on the Danube and a change from the hustle and bustle of Budapest.

Very beautiful and interesting city with lots of history and landmarks. Contrast between 'old historic' town of Buda on the west of the Danube with the bustling city of Pest on the east. Easy to get around with trams, buses, ferries and cheap taxis, lots of choices of bars and restaurants with good-value prices, including the unique "Ruin Bars". Perfect for a weekend city break

Really great city for a long weekend.
Really great city for a long weekend. We stayed for 3 nights and definitely could have done with a least 1 more night as we didn’t see a couple of museums we wanted to see. We did a city tour on a Segway which was fab and the thermal baths were lovely

We loved Budapest and would recommend a city break to anyone. We actually walked everywhere which you can do as we like to see the whole city rather than just use the public transport which is a pretty cheap way to get around. The sights are stunning especially at night time.

Budapest is a lovely city!
Budapest is a lovely city! Plenty of great restaurants and shops, along with numerous tourist attractions. You could experience quite a good chunk of the city over a 3-day weekend easily. My first time here, I took one of the "Hop On/Hop Off" bus tours, and it was a great way to check out the city and identify the places that were "must-see" for me.

Exceptional location for exploring Budapest with easy access to transit and all the exciting buzz and history of the city centre. The apartment is spacious, well laid out and has a very cosy home-like feel. The extra amenities are extraordinary, ie an electronically controlled shutter system for the windows and doors that helps modify, sound, light and temperature. Best of all the owner / manager was extremely helpful and prompt to respond to any questions. This place will put you in a sunny ☀️ state of mind.
Easy to find, just a minute away from the tram that takes you to the city centre for 25 min. There is a shopping centre within 5 min drive with a car. Next to the hotel there is a winery where you can buy Hungarian sparkling wine.
The rooms are good enough with spacious bathrooms and plenty of towels.
The rooms have a balcony with private jacuzzi that you can use. The water temperature is 40 degrees celsius.
The parking is big and free (a rare finding in Budapest).
Absolutely fantastic hotel. The rooms are huge, and brilliantly decorated. Hotel is centrally located, and although city centre in the busy Pest side of the city, the windows were quad insulated - no noise whatsoever.
Staff were excellent, and overly helpful. Genuinely fantastic hotel. I will return to this hotel when I return to Budapest in the future for work or holidays.
Hotel is in city centre, close to all main attractions, restaurants, room was clean, comfortable bed, and very quiet . it is nice hotel. it’s not super luxurious, but if you look for a nice cheap place for your stay, i can only recommend. we didn’t have breakfast, because we like to sleep, so we had “late” breakfast in cafeterias..
