Hevuz is a neat, clean old town with good affordable restaurants and close walking conveniences. Primary attraction is lake Heviz, which is a natural mineral lake. Many of the tourists travel here specifically for this spa lake. Everyday people are seen carrying pool noodle floats to and from the lake.

The biggest atraction of Heviz is a thermal lake, and complete city is dedicated to that, Lake has covered part where the water is more hot and can be used during cold weather. City itself is very clean with lot of green areas, and pedestrian and bikee lanes.
Of course, most of the buildings are Hotels from fancy ones up to modest places.
Rent a bike, it is very nice to ride towards Balaton lake and castle, highly recommended.
In my opinion, in case you are coming as a tourist it is a good point from which you can explore area and enjoy thermal waters.
Advised for 3 - 4 nights stay,
I have not seen the place with that number of thai massage places like Heviz :)

A beautiful town, with a lot of green spaces and flowers. Very nice center and parks. Good places to eat, but, definitely, one of the most wonderful castle we visited : Festetics (placed in Keszthely - which also is a nice
town, few km away from Heviz)

The city is pleasant for everyone who wants thermal pleasures, peace and relaxation. Heviz is also a very clean city. The thermal lake, churches are also worth a visit... My personal opinion is that most of the restaurants are lower middle class. We ate at Magyar csarda, where the quality of the food was appropriate for the price. A bit disturbing is the overabundance of Thai massages.

Heviz is a quaint small town imbued with a serene wellness ambiance, offering visitors the perfect opportunity to unwind and immerse themselves in relaxation. One can leisurely stroll through the nearby park, soaking in the natural beauty, before indulging in a soothing dip in the rejuvenating thermal pools. While my time was primarily spent within the confines of the hotel, venturing out for a leisurely walk provided a refreshing addition to my wellness weekend.

I visited the hotel with my daughter during our trip to Hungary and we were charmed by both the town and the hotel. We enjoyed a spacious room, large and comfortable beds, a terrace with wonderful sunsets and incredibly delicious food. The spa has everything you need for relaxing, and the outdoor aquatonic (adventure) pool was our favorite, especially in the evening when the multi-colored lights in the water and the steam make it a magical and romantic place.
Location is amazing, near to lake as well as to the shops and cafes
Lovely spa, a lot of saunas, the swimming pool is warm and full of equipment. There are additional towels and sheets for sauna right at the spa entrance. Furthermore, the lilt goes right to the spa

Free sauna for hotel guests. Very nice and friendly service personel. We were very happy to spend time there in mid October.
