United StatesThe hotel is quiet. but right off the main square. It is economical and has no real lobby but we liked the Roman themed decor. We had lunch there when we arrived and were pleased they served meals. Breakfast was good.

United StatesIt is a great little hotel! The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. Also, the breakfast the next morning was wonderful and the staff very friendly. I accidentally left an earring and they contacted me immediately to see how they could help get it back to me. Such a wonderful experience! Would highly recommend!

Hungarythe property is so clean and comfy, its nice and quiet. probably the best airbnb i ever had. the host is very kind and accomodating. fully furnished it has aircondition, the toilet is clean, excellent living room, its feels like a home away from home.

Szombathely is quite nice and interesting in the center.
Szombathely is quite nice and interesting in the center. The city emphasizes its Roman roots, which is unique in Hungary, and does so attractively. Outside the center, there is a lot of communist-era architecture, which can also be fascinating, provided the buildings are in good condition. The city feels relatively safe, and the police were visible immediately when needed. Overall cleanliness is okay, although it is rather a provincial town, so some areas are more well-kept than others. Overall, it is well worth a short visit.

It is a nice town.
It is a nice town. We are planning on going back for the festival. There are other things to see. The Izsum was very interesting along with the museum falu. There are some nice paths to walk along the stream that runs through town. There are some long bike paths available. It is big enough to spend a long weekend but small enough to walk about everywhere. It is easy to get there by train.

4-5 days was sufficient. We used the city as a base to travel to Sopron (train travel is free for pensioners). In the city there were places to visit showing the history of the town and a lovely lake about 30 minutes (walk) to the northwest of the city centre.

Welcoming professional reception.
Spacious light room. Comfortable bed and linens. Quiet aside from unnecessary room door slamming from inconsiderate guests. Not hotels fault.
May temperatures soared that day to 30 plus and room was insufferably hot. Air conditioning was entirely ineffectual.
Fortunately door could be opened to allow some ventilation particularly when temperatures dropped over night. A good nights sleep

Location excellent. Easy 10 min to bus station and the same distance to historic main square.

We only did an overnight stay at the hotel while going from Croatia towards Austria. For that it's a good hotel. Breakfast was ok with some basic things. Staff could not communicate well in English but they tried their best to help out.
Parking is free, but there was a fair going nearby and lots of people parked their cars. So be mindful of that. There is no barrier to limit parking to hotel guests.

I really liked the contactless check-in and checkout using the mobile solution. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed. I visited Szombathely for a concert, and it was a good place to stay overnight. I would book this place again.
