Ketanu - is absolutely new , stylish, well organized and highly detailed lodge! SPA lodge it is like in a luxury movie. Food and a chef- like you are eating in France, not in a secluded island in the middle of nowhere. Pool, view, terrace, territory even a place where you have a shower- absolutely stunning!

This was easily the best stay on our trip to Indonesia. The staff are incredible, and you won’t want to leave. It is even more beautiful in person, and the food is fantastic (even for vegetarian!). It was my husband’s birthday while we were there and they made it so incredibly special. We rented a scooter and explored the coastline which is so beautiful and not touristy. Any hotel can be nice but the people in it make it special. Can’t wait to return !

Staff, facilities, and specially the food

The hotel is well designed to the smallest detail. Clean. Feels like in the middle of the forest while still in the middle of the city. Food is amazing. People are beyond amazing.

First of all the facilities are really great. Our room has lots of space. Bath, garden, pool, bed every aspects of the room are high quality. Restaurant area also has the best view. Every morning we adore the review. Coolers, smoothies, pancakes, eggs are delicious. When we arrived late to our room we had chance to order some snacks to our room. Potato fries, chicken roll also other favorites. The gym was increadible. I’m the only one who use gym and it was like special to me. Last but not least, the staff was amazing. Before our arrival they added us to whatsapp group for let them know if we have any need. When we arrived to hotel warm welcome and lemon grass tea make us to feel we were at home. Every morning at breakfast time they asked if we have any other needs. They were always smiling. They share places that must to visit on whatsapp. When we decided to go temple they gave us local clothes and also towel for waterfall. When we wanted to see nearby places, they quickly arrange ride. In a word they made our holiday unforgettable by each moment.

We loved everything about this new boutique hotel. The design and architecture, which elegantly blend Balinese tradition, are fabulous. As regular visitors to Bali, we can say that Plawa Laguna Bali is truly unique. The attention to detail, the staff, the living-dining area, and the kitchen are exceptional. The pool is stunning. A property this close to the sea (100m) in Pererenan is simply perfect. We will definitely come back and stay much longer next time. Thank you!

Made sure I was comfortable – Always checking in without being intrusive. I recommend all my friends. Peaceful & private – No noisy tourists, just pure relaxation. Solo-traveler friendly – Felt completely at ease the whole time. Authentic Balinese hospitality – Not a commercial resort, just genuine warmth. The hotel sits right on the beach, in a small village without many commercial activities. But we found exactly what we are looking for - a place to chill and relax, after 10 days in other, busier parts of Bali. The hotel ground is so well maintained, the lobby and restaurant is beautiful, and the rooms are decorated with lovely Balinese crafts. A lot of thoughts and efforts went into keeping this place so perfect! The hotel restaurant also has delicious food and drinks. The hotel has two pools, and offers free snorkeling tools, kayak and paddle boarding. Bring your own snorkeling gears (they have a limited selection of sizes) if you want a super snorkel session right off the ocean in front - corals and fish, great visibility. The manager Catherine and all the staff were super friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you so much! I couldn’t recommend more this hotel to families and couples who want a beautiful, relaxing beach holiday in Bali!

Everything was great and even more beautiful than the photos. The rooms were clean and modern and food was SO good! Will definitely come back.
