Mary and her staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were a group of 7 retracting our grandmothers roots and we had a name the name of Pheasant Hill but that was about all. Mary helped us get to our destination. The hotel was as I had hoped with small town charm and convenient to everything around us.

First of all the staff was amazing. Gretel and Alana( forgive me if I got their names wrong) were simply above and beyond. We asked them for some things we might see, and they made a few suggestions.Then, we got a knock at their door and they had compiled an entire packet of points of interest and places to go. They had a good inhouse restaurant and a nice cafe in front for breakfast.

This was such a cool experience. The room was cozy and clean, the bathrooms were also very clean and everything you need! The hot tub area was super cool, and of course the pizza oven was awesome to make fresh, quick and easy meal. The owner puts a lot of care and work into the place and it definitely shows. We brought our own ingredients and the oven was hot and ready to go. Loved our stay here, would definitely recommend.

Our host left us all the necessities in terms of fresh bread, butter, milk, jam and fresh fruits. We arrived incredibly late and the cottage was heated and waiting for us. It was such a lovely cottage. We immediately felt like welcomed guests. The beds were outrageously comfortable. The coffee machine was fancy and brewed up the best cup of coffee! There were extra blankets should we have needed them - we didn’t. The shower was amazing - great pressure and heat. We know the area so it was the perfect location for us to stay while we were visiting friends in nearby Newport.
