To be honest, we found this hotel average for what you pay. Our first room faced the railway tracks, noisy at night. No cupboards in the bedrooms …. You have some coat hangers to use, basic rooms . The restaurant and pool was amazing. It’s a great hotel for conferences with all the boardrooms etc.

I only had a short time and was involved in a programme so I did not see much of Cork. I did enjoy having coffee and a scone at The Address [Ambassador Hotel[ which has a wonderful view of the city from a hill and nice outdoor seating on a good day at the restaurant. There are many things to do and see in Cork- but I didn't get to go to them on this short visit. Not to mention it's the gateway for beautiful West Cork.

Cork is a great place to go great food great pubs hotels can be very pricey. Taxis should be booked in advance or book somewhere that's walking distance. Alot of places do quick food mainly burger and chips. Not many places do carvery dinners. Alcohol is expensive between €6/€7 a pint. Not sure how much spirits are and certain pubs can refuse people that order whisky captain Morgan. Voodoo rooms is a nightclub can be fun. Lots of coffee shops vape shops pharmacy's.Dunnes stores and Tesco are the cheapest shops to do grocery shop. Lidl is great shop for buying items like message gun they have new products every month. Cork City is easy to get around just walk around the place and you find the shops if you get lost just ask locals for help. Beware there is alot of junkies and winos around cork some can be aggressive some can be sneaky will ask what time it is will try steel your phone. Never give them money.

Enjoyed my time along the banks of the River Lee in central Cork. Nice restaurants and pubs. A clean city. Plenty of fun options during the day and lively in the evening.

A very lively city.
A very lively city. Well worth a visit and we'll probably go back. Great places to eat. Our favourite was "Quinlan's Seafood Bar"
Great traditional music on almost every night during the season in "Sin e" and the "Corner House". (Right beside each other).
For an interesting shopping experience go to "Vibes and Scribes" (a combined art shop and haberdashery).
Of course, if you want to go kiss the Blarney Stone you might have no choice but to stay here. It's only a short bus ride away from the city centre.

It’s a scenic and historic place and the people are generally friendly and helpful. I recommend going on a tour of the Ring of Kerry which takes about 10 hours if you use one of the tour buses. I also recommend visiting a couple of the churches downtown which are beautiful. Visiting the gaol and Blarney Castle and Gardens is also a must. The food in Cork is great and not expensive at least, in comparison to where I live in South Florida.

Fantastically warm welcome - with very comfortable rooms. Location is within walking distance of all city centre attractions. Plenty eating and drinking options within immediate vicinity of hotel, however popularity does have some draw-backs it is highly advised to book in advance for dining in particular during weekends. Adjoining Isaacs restaurant is a firm Cork favourite for quality and value. We will be back. Jerry
The location is absolutely ideal, putting you within walking distance of all the key attractions and the city centre. The building’s decor is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from, and dinner at the hotel restaurant was equally impressive.
I had a great stay here for one night. It's a fancy house that's more like a hotel. Nice bedroom with a view over the city, great breakfast, lovely staff. 10 minute walk into the city centre. Would definitely recommend
Retro style hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop restaurant was lovely, too. Location is excellent, next to train station and walking distance to city centre(bout 10 mins)
The hotel was super, very convenient to the city centre and east to get to. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a one night stay.
