Beautiful building, gorgeous property, large room that was very comfortable. I was extremely pleased with my decision to stay at Aran View Country House, and was especially pleased considering that I booked the room just the night before.

They provide kettle, bottled water, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits for breakfast. The bed is fantastic, comfortable, toilet is clean. The owner is friendly, even sending me a text message about the location, where to have a breakfast and some info needed. Location is beautiful, perfect to be away from the city and experience the nature for a short stay. If you will be coming from Galway City, it will take about 1hr by car, but you will enjoy the nature on your journey. I suggest to travel on a daylight as some roads are narrow and if it's your first time, you would think it's taking too long to arrive but once you are there, it's worth it.
Situated 11 km from Cliffs of Moher, Harvest Moon-ROOMS ONLY offers 4-star accommodation in Doolin and has a garden.

Our stay here was so so lovely!
It was everything we needed ,expected and wanted. We loved how out and away we felt from everything (countryside) because its what we wanted by booking this in the first place. It was so quiet & Comfortable.
......although...my favourite part was pegleg penny ,the most scrumptious little muffin (Dog), who greeted us both mornings of our stay😌
Overall,
Thank you so much for everything.... so lovely. Definitely recommend!

A very charming village. The people were very friendly. Great pubs and live music (McGann's & McDermott's were the ones we visited). There is a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher from the parking lot of the ferry dock; our landlord recommended we go at sunset, and it was amazing! It happened to be high tide and the roaring waves made the scene even more astounding. Of course, the Cliffs are just down the road, and they are one of the best sights in Ireland.

Great music, fun and food.
Great music, fun and food. Excellent quality food in all pubs and hotels. You can walk between pubs but lack of street lights can make this dangerous at night...maybe there could be a store of hivis vests that could be swapped between pubs for those walking.

Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community.
Got a true feel for this countryside / seaside community. Loved the pubs. Took the scenic cliff side walk to Cliffs of Moher which was spectacular but super muddy. Amazing and majestic. Bus back to town could have been more on time and available.

Doolin is a cute little town and is a great place to stay for close proximity to the Cliffs of Moher. There isn't much to do in Doolin, so I recommend staying there only to spend the night after visiting the Cliffs that afternoon or before visiting the Cliffs the next morning.

Plenty of restaurants and lovely craft shops. Good atmosphere and traditional Irish music available in the evenings.

Excellent weekend in Dooling.
We were supposed to have a double room but we were upgraded to an entire house with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms (one big and one small).
House is spotless clean, in a very quiet location and the staff is very friendly.
Parking is available free of charge in front of the place and the town is at walking distance.
We had dinner at the on-site restaurant and it was excellent, highly recommended!
Excellent location for the ferry to Aran Islands.
Fast check-in/check-out
Great B&B. Maria is a delightful host. Our room and bathroom were spotless and a good size. Breakfast was delicious and HOT!! Dubhlinn House is centrally located in Doolin. You can walk to McGann's pub on one end, the Doolin Ferry on the other. O'Connor's pub and the Cliffs of Moher are right down the street. Fitzpatrick's pub is across the bridge. We loved the ability to visit all of these places and catch some incredible music sessions. The Galway bus is right across the bridge as well.
Location was ideal and room for 2 cars to park outside the house which was great so you didn't have to worry.
House was a lot bigger than we expected and it was spotless.
Great to have towels in the house so we didn't have to supply our own and having washing up liquid and extras in the house was a lovely little touch.
We had dinner in the bar of the hotel and it was fantastic. We were offered breakfast in the hotel the morning after but we left that but it was lovely to have been offered it.
It was a very clean, comfortable, and modern house. It was located in the village of Doolin (on the edge of town) and in walking distance to the restaurants. There was plenty of free onsite parking. We only stayed one night, but if the itinerary allowed, we would have liked to stay another night or two. It was that nice of a place and there was plenty to see and do there. It was also a very quiet and peaceful area.
Very nice hotel room, super comfortable, and very clean. lovely staff for when we checked in. Room provided a kettle, mugs, tea, coffee, and little bottle of milk for our morning tea and coffee which was perfect. Within a short driving distance to the Cliffs of Moher. The town of Doolin had some nice pubs with friendly locals and great live music. Definitely worth a stay
This was a gem of a find.Staff so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were so comfortable & clean. Our room had an ocean view which was stunning. Breakfast was really nice and the dinner was amazing. It’s worth staying here for the food alone. And to top off the meal a pint of the creamiest pints of Guinness in the bar. This is a must if you a planing a trip near Doolin.
West haven house definitely had the little touches that I would notice and enjoy . The crockery , bathroom mirror light and amazing art work throughout . We pinned on the world map that I am from Cape Town and Kilkenny and it was a lovely thing to do . Aswell as to see where people has travelled from to enjoy the beauty in Doolin .
The owners/managers were very friendly. We arrived at an off hour. I called and the owner told me exactly how to get into the room. Then stopped by to say hi. Gave great dinner recommendation. We stayed one night only but wish all of our hotels were as nice and friendly!
The view from our bedroom of the cliffs and Atlantic was phenomenal. Locational was within easy walking distance of town for restaurants and the Doolin pier for our trip to the Aran Islands. Breakfast was very good especially with the view. Plenty of on-site parking.
Stunning boutique hotel in Doolin. The staff are so attentive and the restaurant is gorgeous too. We came on a rainy evening in December but we really didn't care- it was such a cosy hotel that we didn't want to leave! Would love to come back in summer too.
We had the best few days with you in Doolin. Everything was amazing, the food in the restaurant, the wine and drinks, the breakfast in the hotel and the coffees in The Meadow. All the staff were really lovely. We have already booked again for next year.
People say you must go to Doolin. Yes but you must stay at West Haven House. Cormac Shannon is a wonderful host. He was engaging and very helpful. We loved our stay and the very convenient walk to many restaurants and pubs!!! The Trad was amazing!!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage in Doolin. The views are lovely, the beds very comfortable and it was nice to spread out a bit after staying in hotels. A very welcoming touch was the coffee, tea, bread , butter, and milk for us on arrival!
Fantastic rooms, wonderful hosts, my family was really looked after, beautiful rooms, I couldn't have found a better gem in doolin than dubhlinn b&b, location was great, great breakfast menu caters for all, possible best stay ever
We stayed at the Doolin Inn for three nights. It was the perfect location in town, and the accommodations were superb! Loved that breakfast was included every morning. The staff was so gracious and kind! Would highly recommend.
Overall decor was very nice. Grounds around the hotel were beautiful especially the castle. Service was excellent as was the restaurant on the property. Rooms were well appointed and clean/comfortable.
