Absolutely stunning, cosy welcoming house, lovingly decorated to a very high standard. We stayed in "Shergar" and it was a beautiful room with an extremely comfortable bed which truth be told we were loathe to leave, The bathroom was lovely and spacious with a great shower. We only stayed for one night but would be delighted to return again.

Location was perfect as I was staying the night before a work event in The Curragh Racecourse. It was great to be so near and to have a >10 min drive to the event the following morning. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Bedding was spotless and comfortable. I was well looked-after and would definitely be hoping to book in again if I need to come back to the area.

There was a slight problem with our booking that caused a delay, but the owners were so kind and generous. They were able to resolve the problem and get us into our pod fairly quickly. The pod itself was cozy and quiet. The morning birds chirping were so peaceful. I loved it.

Never stay there again was threatened to take a review down i had made 2 days prior, 3am getting threatening messages from the host in Kildare Luxury Suits who i had never met,accused me of leaving "white powder" on her table, I asked for the picture, but didn't receive any, accused of smoking weed in the room ,called a druggie to, all these accusations from someone that hadn't even seen me. Never been treated like that anywhere I have stayed before. Disgraceful.

The Silken Thomas, besides helping us with some difficulties...

The Silken Thomas, besides helping us with some difficulties, is a great place to eat, followed by Harte's. A MUST VISIT is The National Stud & Japanese Garden. You don't need to be big into horses or gardens to enjoy either. We had a great Welsh Male Voice Choir Concert in The Cathedral on the Saturday night of our stay.

Started our day off in Kildare Shopping Village - we did get some great deals however some of the shops had limited items Stopped at Tree House Sauna, amazing value fro money ad the views from the sauna were breathtaking! Stayed in the Silken Thomas, great value for money, amazing foo & lovely staff!

quiet well appointed cheerful spotlessly clean with every accoutrement you cd wish for, close to everything, easy parking, super friendly welcome supplies, grand shower with lovely warmth snd pressur, gorgeously fresh bright bed linen …seriously youd be working hard to find any fault here… a bonus is spirited bird chat at various times of day which i reckon is a further sign of a terrific location.

We were attending a concert in Dublin but did not want to pay Dublin hotel prices so Kildare and the Kildare House Hotel was perfect. We got the Green Bus from Kildare Village into the city center. The Kildare village Outlet was great for shopping the following morning.

Kildare is a small town, has lovely square with plenty of seating areas. Few shops, and nice cafe's with great food there. 10mins from the Shopping Village if you like shopping. Relaxing and friendly there. Would stay there again.

On arrival the staff were so nice and helpful and the room was spacious and clean. The restaurant food was fabulous and there was live music in the bar and a great atmosphere. location was perfect for some christmas shopping in kildare village outlets which was a five minute walk from the hotel. Overall I will definitely stay there again if I'm in kildare

Stayed many times, always a lovely experience. Pub next door with lovely staff, amazing food and delicious cocktails. Breakfast in the morning at firecastle always a treat. Lovely shop with many local irish crafts and produce. Walking distance to Kildare village. Ideal trip away with your bestie for retail therapy.

Great location, just 2 minutes off the motorway and from Kildare village. We stayed as we were attending a concert in Dublin and was only half an hour drive to red cow luas p&r. Staff were very polite, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. I will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel.
