It was all lovely - from staff, restaurant/bar, leisure club & spa. The scenery from the room was great! It was for a birthday, and they gave us a champagne in the room and sweet decorations. We had a relaxing stay.

It's a pretty town and at one end of a walking/cycling Greenway with Athlone at the other end (about 46kms). I could definitely see taking my bike on the train from home to Athlone, biking the Greenway, taking a day or two to visit Mullingar, then the return trip to Athlone and home.

Mullingar is a very lively & musical town - always musical events going on. I was meeting an old friend for carvery lunch in Bloomfield. Although we dined at 12.15, the food was only warm, not hot! Dining situation was in the bar/lounge with beautiful view of lake & very comfortable seating. Serving staff extremely pleasant.
Mullingar is very easy to get around - fairly compact, but own car necessary. Plenty of parking available.
Next time I would demand to view my room before payment to make certain that I was not dumped in a childrens' room! There are other hotels.

Stayed at Keyfield House for the last few days. We were given a warm welcome by Phyllis and appreciated the quiet house as we'd just flown in to Ireland. The room we were provided was just so comfortable and we had beautiful views through all our windows. Enda is a great host, the house feels like a lovely home away from home.
P.S: We enjoyed the beautiful continental breakfast with fresh fruit. Thank you Enda for the wonderful effort.
From the moment we arrived at the Annebrook hotel we we made feel so welcome. All of the staff we kind warm and helpful. Smiles all round. They gave us such positive attention and nothing was a problem. It felt like home ♥️ we booked another trip on checking out.. The location in the centre on Mullingar is perfect. Greenway Guesthouse is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. I enjoyed a great nights sleep and access to a mini kitchen with all I needed. The host Tony was super welcoming, professional and friendly. I loved the quiet location within 5 mins driving distance of the town centre.
Room was nice and clean and so was the en suite.
Breakfast the next morning was very good and cooked fresh for us. Better than most hotels. The location was perfect, right in the town center and had enough parking for residents. Was very happy with my stay there.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room has a setup for coffee and tea as well as a small refrigerator. We had the corner room overlooking the roundabout. It was spacious with lots of windows and a good view of the center of town.
Staff were friendly, going above and beyond to ensure an enjoyable stay. Room was spacious and clean, hotel bar was affordable and had an excellent atmosphere. Location was ideal, centred right in the middle of town.
I loved the style of the hotel. Old style but really cool. Mona Lisa portrait at the top of the stairs, mini museum in the landing with old coins, jewellery etc. Ideal location right in the middle of the town.
The bloomfield hotel offered us the biggest hotel room we were ever been. Very spacious, with a lake view.
Good food in the restaurant and of course swimming pool and sauna.
Everything the hotel is central location... The staff were unbelievable from front desk to staff delivering extra towels and to the bar staff especially David and Max
