Room is comfortable and reasonably clean. We did not have breakfast. Staff were super nice! We were staying for a wedding nearby and was able to check in and drop our stuff to the room early.
With stunning panoramic views and a beautiful, peaceful setting among the lush green hills of Wicklow’s Glen of the Downs, this 4-star hotel has superb recreation and relaxation facilities.

Kevin was the soundest man and made our stay very comfortable. He left loads of fire wood out, gave us red wine and we spent the night gazing at the stars. We made great use of the BBQ for breakfast. The set up is so cosy and warm. We woke up both mornings forgetting we were glamping. Most comfortable bed!! We went to the alpaca trail, Wicklow wolf brewery, devil's glen, glendalough mountains, great sugar loaf. Will definitely be returning as there is so much to see in Wicklow.

Innkeeper was very helpful and friendly. We arrived earlier than was expected and our room was ready. I asked that the housekeeper not use artificial air freshener which the hotel doesn’t use but the housekeeper remembered my request and took extra care with the room. Restaurant is very nice too serving an excellent made to order breakfast and because it’s served in the dining room I ordered a double espresso cappuccino.

We enjoyed our stay so much, lovely tent with all we need! Kevin is a great host! Good base to explore the Wicklow area, Glendalough, Powerscourt etc.
Also close to the village; only a few minutes by car to the supermarket. So easy to prepare BBQ, Breakfast etc. Many thanks for the welcoming bottle of wine!
Had a great time and con only highly recommend to stay here!
Comfortable, well-presented hut with a lovely view of the Wicklow hills. Made a great starting point for a tour through the hills. Cooking facilities seemed good, too, although didn’t give them a lot of use since I was only staying one night. Next time!
