Loved everything Wexford had to offer. It's a beautiful town to visit. Great medieval character, lovely streetscape and beautiful by the harbour. We went to Courtown beach and loved it. If you get the weather, it's beautiful in Wexford and surrounding areas.

The areas around wexford are amazing, so easy to be beside the sea. It is a great location and lovely places to stay. I went to the Hook Light which was amazing. Then found out about Kilmore Quay. I had already visited Rosslare Strand location and indeed visited the actual strand. Kellys Hotel is worth a visit. If you are looking for a special place to stay and you love animals then the Tranquil Alpacka Farm is the place. It is a really lovely place to stay. Up the road is a lovely cafe . All local produce are sold there but the food is something else.

The high street has a huge variety of shops and restaurants. Fresh seafood. Unique countryside more tropical than Dublin I recommend wandering down the whole length. Good train service to an from Dublin Sea views on the way

It was the first time I'd stayed in Wexford town in a good...

It was the first time I'd stayed in Wexford town in a good few years and it's really come on. There was always good pubs there but there's now a great selection of cafes and restaurants to explore now too. Would especially recommend 'The Sky and Ground' pub as well as The Cape bar (aka Undertakers) for good pints of Guinness. Simon's Place, Santorinis. The Holy Grail and Thomas Moore tavern are good spots for dinner while Beans and Bites and Trimmers Lane are great shouts for breakfast. There are some great beach walks within a 20 drive in Curracloe and Ballynaclash. The National Heritage Park and Johnstown are two places worth a visit too.

Wonderful sandy beaches with great amenities including mostly free parking which is unusual these days. Also the towns of Wexford, Gorey, Enniscorthy are all great to explore with some lovely stores. Spoilt for choice with so many fabulous seafood restaurants.

Two bedrooms, one with single beds, one with double. one on-suite bathroom with walk in shower and one bathroom with shower over bath. large lounge and well equipped kitchen. The Talbot Hotel which is about a minutes walk from the Talbot Suites has a lovely bar and restaurant where we ate on the first night and the food was very good. Walking distance to the town of Wexford is about 5 minutes

Location was lovely beside the river and a short walk into town. The staff were excellent and Finn(?) on reception was exceptional when I needed to find an alternative hotel as I had mixed up our arrival date. Very grateful to Finn for going above and beyond to help us out on an extremely busy weekend in Wexford. Food in the bar/restaurant was excellent and service very good.

I think the Whitford Hotel is very conveniently situated for travel by ferry from Ireland to England. The bedrooms are comfortable and the restaurant serves amazing cuisine. The facilities are fantastic and the staff are friendly and hospitable. I would definitely recommend this family run Hotel and hope to stay again the next time I am in Ireland.
