It is one of the best cities I have ever been to in my life.
It is one of the best cities I have ever been to in my life. It is vibrant , almost never sleeps. The people know how to live life. The food is sensational. It is not a cheap city, so make sure you have some money to spend, I would do it over and over again. I walked around at 2am on my own and was never frightened, I felt so safe.

Friendly people, a good party town, nice weather, and plenty of activities to do..
It was just very expensive and I didn't like that whenever I ate out it was almost demanded that I pay 10% extra in tip! This shld be optional, but I felt like I was forced to.

Can be really nice if visited as a tourist.
Can be really nice if visited as a tourist. For those wanting to deep dive into complexity, do research about the Ajami ghetto of Jaffa used by Israel to concentrate leftover Palestinians from the '48 massacres, look up the list of children's schools used as army bases by pre state Israeli militias, read the plaques on old and interesting buildings, and educate to liberate.

Tel Aviv was an exceptional city.
Tel Aviv was an exceptional city. The people are welcoming, vibrant and full of life. There's so much to do and the beaches, bars, restaurants and markets are incredible. Getting around is so easy and the sunrise and sunsets are out of this world. This city really does have everything and I can't wait to get back there.

The Crown Plaza Tel Aviv is unbelievably convenient and all the staff, including the front desk the dining room staff and the staff that prepare and clean the rooms. Everybody is polite and helpful. See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Tel Aviv
1. Big comfortable bed
2. Its clean for a hostel (we stayed in a separate room with our own bathroom)
3. Room was good size and had a fridge with a freezer on top drawer(very nice)
4. Curtains were blackout to a good extend (except a little bit on the sides - but if you press it with something you can fix it)
5. Looks like a room in a real hotel
6. Good location - in front of best beaches in Tel Aviv (2 min walk) - but Tel Aviv is small and everything is in 30-40 min walk, maybe all that noise wasn't worth it...
From the moment I was greeted at reception by Ilia, until the time of my check out with Hanna, I was made to feel most welcome. The room was cleaned every time I returned. Location is excellent, across the road from Metzitzim Beach and next to Tel Aviv Port. Mineral water was replaced daily, and a bottle of good red wine and macarons were on the table in the room, compliments of the hotel. Honestly, it me of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Israel, or anywhere really.
Breakfast is really beyond expectation, plentiful and diverse meal, also affordable
Hotel located next to Tel Aviv beach, great place for promenade, sport or just chilling
There is very cozy outdoor zone
Small and cosy hotel in the hustle and bustle of the Tel Aviv waterfront, facing a park and very close to the beach and the small touches like free wine and happy hour, gift upon departure etc
Loved the decor and ambience of hotel - has the feel of a 1930’s salon. Fabulously situated for the beach and new port area of Tel Aviv. Lovely and helpful staff. Great breakfast too.
