Super friendly staff! So welcoming and helpful. We received a welcome-watermelon juice upon arrival and we were helped with our luggage and shown around the facilities by the lovely staff. They refilled their stock of our favorite beer so that they wouldn’t run out, and helped us organize a super friendly taxi driver to take us to the airport. So nice location with sun beds in the shadow of the palm trees.

Cute boutiques, beautiful beach, great swimming, good massage, a nice size town for a stroll, friendly people, lack of touts on the beach - all in all, a really good arrangement of all things you need on a beach holiday.

Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous beach away from all the madness and the crowds of the north Goa. The area is serene with good number of diverse eateries. There are boating trips, to other local beaches, backwaters. The highlight though is 3-4 KMS Beach: The beach is wonderful throughout the day and night, but best during sunrises and sunsets. The evening dinners with live music are what travel memories are made of. Agonda is an experience in itself. been there thrice and would go again in an heartbeat.

The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate very well (all servings are huge and most food is spicy!) There are many hotels; my preference is for the bungalow style hotel that we went to. There are cows ambling around the streets and prices are very moderate. We stayed three days and I found that was about right. It would be worth going for the sunset alone.LeilaFrance - 10Scored 10

South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and...
South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and river behind the Main Street which can be used to boat and kayak down. The Main Street gets busier the more south you go. The top end is much quieter and peaceful . The restaurants and bars serve excellent food and very good prices. The tree top cafe is has stunning views and the BBQ on the beach at Tropical Taste's was sublime. There are boat trips to other areas if you want this. To be on the beach and able to sit on my deck in peace and then stroll onto the sand and swim In the gorgeous clear sea was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The other guests all discreet and friendly but not overly so. It’s India so light fittings etc and all Pretty basic but fan and air conditioning efficient. Comfortable bed and pillows! The Villas face onto the beach meaning sitting out on the deck is a pleasure. The staff were very nice, attentive and friendly. The hotel has two restaurants, we only tried the one on the beach, it was amazing, the food was great and the staff were great. One of their curries was so good I asked the chef for the recipe and he came up to the restaurant to tell me how to cook it at home. All round a great stay.ThomasUnited Kingdom

I requested them beach view cottage and they were able to try their best based on availability and provide me that. This place is facing the beach. Room is quite comfortable. Very nicely maintained. All the staff members were very nice and helpful during my stay. Wifi also pretty decent for working. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a affordable, and comfortable stay agonda. All were perfect. There are lots of restaurants nearby, the beach is in front of the hotel, everything was perfect. Breakfast was super ok. You can choose one from the list (6 types of breakfast- all including one natural fresh and one coffee or tea). The wi-fi was very good.

If im honest I didn't realise how expensive these were compared to some accommodation in Agonda, and we didn't use the private tub once as you're right on the beach.
