You need to take a tour for exploring the Geological wanders of Iceland. I took a tour from troll.is & it was very good. The hotels provided by the operator for my multi days tour were also excellent. Highly recomended to book such tour if you are not travelling by car rental.

Very interesting city with lots of great food choices.

Very interesting city with lots of great food choices. However, don't come unless you can afford to grin and bear the extraordinarily expensive costs of everything! It didn't help that our Canadian dollar is so weak against most other world currencies.

This first trip was just the right amount of time to give us a taste of the e city and culture. We would definitely go back and then would venture out into other places in Iceland. We ate at a couple of great restaurants—Skál and Islenska Barinn—went to each twice. Our waiter at Islenska Barinn-Andre-was amazing and very helpful. We walked everywhere and it is very windy but doable.

Reykjavik is a great city to visit, lots of things to do and visit, but you need to do your research. We hired a car, which turned out to be a good choice, however you need to study up on the local parking rules, which are very confusing. Iceland is insanely expensive when it comes to shopping and food, without there being a particularly good reason, so again, do some research. The hotdogs that people rave about aren't really worth the bother. For food, we would recommend Bastard Brew And Food and 101 Bistro. Best attractions were the Lava Show, FlyOver Iceland and the Perlan Museum.

Great walking city, wonderful views of the bay and snow capped mountains beyond, food is a lot more expensive than the UK but much higher quality across the board so felt worthwhile for a short stay. Rent a car to enjoy the scenery beyond.

I really enjoyed staying 6 nights at the City Center Hotel in Reykjavík. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, I got a nice room with a balcony. Conveniently located in the center with walking distance to main attractions, shops, restaurants etc. On the way back to Keflavik airport I took a taxi that work with the hotel. The driver Kali was kind and charged as expected. Highly recommend 👌 Takk firr, Meital
