We enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood, patting the horses and visiting the historic church. Two bathrooms. Good place to stay for visiting Skaftafell. Quiet area surrounded by farmland.

This is an amazing place to hike and see some glorious views - especially on a clear day - which can be a bit tricky. We were extremely fortunate to have some of the the sunniest days recorded. Could not ask for a more comfortable hike. There are glacier hikes that you can pay for but honestly parking at the Park and hiking up yourself is something you will not soon forget. Not too laborious, but you defintely feel like you are exercising. Loved every minute of this hike and I wish I could have stayed longer.Guest review bymaryUnited States

The Staff was lovely and supper helpfull, room was of a regular size, enough space for what we needed but very clean. We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazong experience. We were in the main building and parking was very convienent. The dinner in the restarant was good and no reservation was needed when we went in. Breakfast was good & plentiful.
