Good location close to the old town. The room was large with two terraces, although it had a very strange shape with a very narrow corridor from the entrance.

Great location for travel around Puglia as close to Bari Central Train station, but literally on the “wrong side of the tracks” to get to downtown Bari.

The hotel is located not in the city centre, but in a quiet area and you may get easily by bus everywhere. The room is in a good condition, everything was comfortable. My wife is allergic to strong chemicals used for cleaning,so when we requested to change bed sheets and towels washed with a soft detergent, the staff immediately did it for us, so we were really thankful for such a prompt responsiveness. The breakfast is also rich and nutritious, you have a lot to choose from.

My wife and I stayed there for only 1 night in advance of catching a flight the following morning.
The hotel staff was fine, and even allowed us to occupy our hotel room at noon since we had arrived that morning earlier and had waited in the hotel lobby. They gave us directions to nearby restaurants and supermarkets.
The hotel room linens were clean.

The Apulian capital Bari has been known for its port since Roman times. Nowadays there are 2 harbours: cruise ships and ferries to Greece and Croatia depart from the new port, while the old port shelters fishing vessels.
Between them is a seafront road bordering the real attraction – the old town. Narrow, cobbled streets lead under arches to hidden piazzas with pavement cafes. Many are on adjoining Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, where the old Roman road is exposed.
The imposing 12th-century Norman-Swabian Castle guards the west of the historic centre, and the simple Cathedral of San Sabino is from the same period. Equally understated is the Basilica of St Nicholas, housing relics of the saint. Pope John Paul II once prayed there, which may have given rise to Bari Airport’s name: Karol Wojtyła Airport.
Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the meeting point of the old town and the Murat district, built under orders of Napoleon’s brother-in-law. Facing each other across this street are the colourful façades of the municipal office and Piccinni Theatre, though most prestigious is the Petruzzelli Theatre opera house.
Booking.com’s Bari accommodation includes luxury hotels by the Fiera del Levante, cheap city centre apartments, and B&Bs near the train station. For families, the slides and swimming pools of Bari Acquapark make a great day out.

Bari is a nice place to visit—not too small, and not too big. There are many shops, restaurants, and sights to visit, and you won't get bored quickly. The old town has a great atmosphere to it, and the sea is beautiful. Bari is a popular location for Bulgarian visitors as Ryanair has a cheap direct flight to it, and it takes a little over one hour to arrive. Prices in town are affordable. The main beach is small though, so I wouldn't recommend visiting for a seaside vacation. One thing I really didn't like was how dirty the streets were, rubbish everywhere, unpleasant odours often in the air. Another thing is—drivers never stop to let pedestrians pass, even on pedestrian crossings. Apparently parking is a problem in Bari, and oftentimes cars are parked so close to each other it's difficult to walk around them. Getting around with a pushchair would be hard.

Trains in Bari are very convenient to travel with in the Puglia region. Easy to make day trips. However, bus is not reliable. Taxi is very reasonable. However, you have to get taxi from the Taxi stands.

Amazing walkable city.
Amazing walkable city. Lots of services and great restaurants but not overrun with tourists. It's great base for visiting other close by towns (e.g. Monopoli, Polignano a Mare, etc.) using the train which is cheap and fast. It was nice to visit some of the heavily touristed towns like these for the day and then come back to the peacefulness of Bari.

My stay in Bari met my expectations.
My stay in Bari met my expectations. We stayed for three days and that was enough to visit Bari, Polignano a Mare and Alberobello. I definitely recommend visiting this city for an extended weekend. We used the train to visit the Puglia region and everything worked great.

Bari is easily walkable.
Bari is easily walkable. The old town can get very crowded especially at the weekend. Our visit happened to coincide with a festival for Saint Nicholas and there was also a 10K/5K run on the Sunday, so it was heaving.
Bar Napoli, (a recommendation from Beppe) serves fab pasta and pizza. Generally food is fresh, tasty and excellent quality and very reasonable ££

The best thing about the hotel is its location near the airport and free shuttle bus from and to the airport. We came to Bari and spend there two nights, we have been pick up from the airport and then give us the ride to airport where we pick up the rental car. The railway station is 10 minutes walk. There is nice swimming pool. The breakfats wa ok.
Excellent location opposite Bari Centrale station and only a 10 minute walk to the old town. My room was spacious, modern and clean. Plenty of fresh towels were provided every day which I liked as I sometimes find at other hotels not enough towels are provided.
The pillows were the most comfortable pillows I've ever experienced!
The location of the hotel is within walking distance of the station and all the shops, restaurants and old town of Bari. It is a good 2* hotel, functional although quite dated, especially the bathroom. Everything worked fine though. The street is very busy during the day but very quiet at night.
Great location, 1 min walk from Bari Train Station and about 15/20 to the old town and main area in Bari. Good to stay at if you’ll be getting train/bus to surrounding areas. Spacious room. Nice hotel gym and breakfast, friendly staff.
The apartment was better than many 5 star hotel rooms I have stayed in. It was clean and very well decorated. The hosts advice on where to eat were excellent. We would happily recommend this property to family and friends
