Super clean and comfortable hotel in a very central location. Automated entry with codes as Reception only staffed a few hours a day but it all worked perfectly. Very modern decor, with nice bathrooms and facilities. No breakfast included but a great cafe downstairs. Very helpful Receptionist who let us leave our bags whilst we ate and ordered a taxi.

The Sardinian capital, Cagliari has a historic old town, busy port and one of the island’s best beaches. The sweeping stretch of sand at Poetto offers great summer nightlife, and just inland is Molentargius lagoon, where flamingos nest against the backdrop of the city.
Cagliari is spread over a small hill and the oldest part – Quartiere Castello – lies at the top. There are far-reaching views from Bastion San Remy, its main entrance point. Medieval city walls lead from here to the simple cathedral, and nearby is the 18th-century Palazzo Regio.
By one of the original city gates is the National Archaeological Museum, housing a collection of Phoenician and Roman artefacts from the city’s Tuvixeddu Necropolis. There are also displays of the nuraghic civilisation whose former dwellings pepper Sardinia. The most impressive is Su Nuraxi north of Cagliari.
Just outside the walls are remains of a Roman amphitheatre, next to the university botanical gardens. Orange tree-lined streets descend the hill towards the seafront where restaurants and bars can be found. Cagliari FC play at Sant’Elia Stadium along the coast and opposite is the Sardinia International Fair, an important conference venue.
Booking.com’s Cagliari accommodation includes luxury hotels with pools, B&Bs by the train station and cheap guest houses near Elmas Airport.

If you know Cagliari or if you don't, in both cases you'll love it.
Wonderful sunny city with culture, historical places and amazing blue sea, you'll fall in love.
Visit the Poetto beach, shop in via Garibaldi, via Alghero and via Manno, walk in the Castello quartier and up to the Bastione, take an ice cream in the passeggiata in via Roma and enjoy the pulsating nightlife in piazza Yenne.
If you're an early bird, you can run or walk in the long pedestrian street in la Marina towards the Poetto where a cappuccino or aperitif will be the well-deserved prize!

There is a lot to do and see in Cagliari.
There is a lot to do and see in Cagliari. Highlights were the Bastione and cathedral, the Salt Lake, where we saw flamingos, and just wandering the streets in the old town and soaking up the atmosphere and local culture.
We used the local buses to visit Pula/Nora and the Roman remains there and also to visit Poetta beach

Cagliari was a great city to visit. We stayed a week, and that was a perfect amount of time. There is a rich history to explore, going back to the Romans. We enjoyed boating, hiking, beaches and even played tennis as a local club.

Very beautiful city without the metropolitan flaws - very few beggars, scammers and pickpocket. Not too overcrowded with migrants or tourists either. It is what you expect Rome or Napoli to be when you travel there. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect and even higher than expected. Excellent location on the beach, beautiful terrace with delicious breakfast, stylish hotel interior and wonderful surrounding garden. The staff made our days in Sardinia outstanding: Roberta, Lea, Max, Carla, all the people working at the reception and serving in the restaurant were always there for all our requests to be completed and more. Very friendly, positive and present! Cannot wait to come back. Grazie mille 🤗
Everything was truly amazing, starting with Fabio, who was the perfect host and gave us the most incredible tips not only to explore Cagliari but also all Sardegna. He also prepared a really good breakfast, with a selection of Sardinian delicacies. The room was big, clean, well decorated and the bed was really confortable. The location was also great, walking distance from the main spots in Cagliari. It was a perfect stay.
The stay at Old Town B&B was more than what we asked for! Stefano always looked after guests needs and provided insider info on what to do in Cagliari and Sardinia. Breakfast is made to your liking, AC and wifi included, and location is perfect for a base to travel around Sardinia!
Great breakfast, very kind and helpful hosts. place in perfect spot, close to all main atractions in Cagliari. Definitely worth visiting again in the future. Very reasonable price for a (very) last-minute trip, booked just days before flying on Sardinia.
This hotel provides a convenient yet quiet location close to the main train or bus station of Cagliari (2 min walk). Also, it is close to the central part for sightseeing and local bus stops to reach the beach of Poetto
