United StatesIt was centrally located, was exceptionally clean, beautiful. Breakfast was on the light side typical of Italy, but the small kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge, and cappuccino machine allowed me to make my own. The market opens in the morning just a few steps away for some fruits and a butcher shop a few blocks away where I got breakfast sausage the night before.

Absolutely worth a visit - found a great street market, lovely friendly cafes and the information centre directed us to a garden centre where of course we bought a lemon tree (actually two). If you want to listen to some seriously good music - visit the biggest of the four churches in the town centre and listen to the church choir practicing. There isn't much to see in Caltanissetta itself but it is a good base for travelling around the area. It isn't touristy so not as busy as place such as Enna and Piazza Armerina. It is located out of the town Caltanissetta, in a private property, the entrance is a little further from where google maps sent us, but there is a sign that indicates this. You need to call or buzz the intercom so that someone will open the gate. Close by there is a sports club with a pizzeria attached where you can have dinner if you do not want to drive back to town.
