Resorts in Civitavecchia

Everything! From the initial contact with Luca via text and email until we finally bade goodbye this afternoon he was an amazing host! Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went out of his way to assist us at every move! Even when Italy had a train strike, he organised much needed transport with the lovely Domenico both ways to Rome in a private luxury car, playing beautiful music and pointing out highlights as we drove! Outstanding in every way!

This place was more of a resort with a pool, very nice grounds, a lovely restaurant (although it was closed for a private function when we were there so couldn’t try it). We had a large room with a basic bathroom, shower and toilet.

Location, uniqueness, luxury finishes. Close to quick grocery and restaurant options.

Breakfast was simple - a packaged pastry, tea, coffee. This place was fantastic and so big compared to most places we stayed in Italy. Host was very welcoming and accommodating. We just stayed one night before a cruise, but it would be a great place for a longer stay when we could take advantage of the waterfront and resort vibe. The apartment is on a sqare with many restaurants and would be awesome to try them all. We were close to a cool market and shopping which we explored before embarking on our cruise.

Used their shuttle service from airport. The unit was clean and included a very nice breakfast. The resort is close to great seafood restaurants. Used an Uber to get to port on the day of our cruise.

The owner herself made the breakfast, she previously asked at what time and what I would like to eat. First time ever I had the luxury to sleep and decide what to eat in a B&B. She came and picked me up where I was and brought me to the other B&B that I had unfortunatly previously booked . No comparison! Don't hesitate ! For a few dollars difference choose this place, a beautiful terrace , beautiful room, beautiful human person!

Villa Susanna is in a quiet residential area but just a pleasant walk from the beach center with many cafes, restaurants & shops. Also walkable to cruise ship port. This is a lovely lively resort area. The family owners are helpful & very pleasant. Would stay here again.

Not a breakfast person, but coffee at bar was great (limited choice coupon) but it suited me. Location was great for me, restaurant and bars in back streets, sightseeing and 'eye shopping' was great, very close to cruise port suited me. The private well kept garden would have been utilised daily if I stayed longer......a real BONUS (mini resort) in the middle of town
