Beautiful location and surrounding areas. Claudio was an exceptional host and gave lovely recommendations and told us about the history of the area. Went above and beyond for us. Stunning room with an amazing view. Delicious breakfast and excellent value. Overall our favourite place we stayed on our travels and I hope to be back again!!

The room had a beautiful lake view and terrace. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Carolena was great and made sure that everything was perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

The Masseria is a real oasis. Surrounded by vineyards with multiple outdoor spaces to lounge around in as well as spacious rooms with interesting decor and comfortable beds. Andreas and Anthony live on the property and are great hosts. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful- full of home grown produce and culinary skill.

From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted. The surrounding villages, rolling hills, lush nature, and fragrant orange trees created a dreamlike backdrop that felt straight out of a painting. La Monastica is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The resort is like a secret garden unfolding across different levels—each terrace revealing new corners of serenity, from elegant pools to peaceful towers and cozy nooks perfect for unwinding while taking in the breathtaking views. The staff—Michela, Elena, Paola, and the entire team—embody true hospitality. Their attentiveness, warmth, and kindness are something truly rare and unforgettable. They made our stay not just comfortable, but genuinely heartwarming. The spa is a haven in itself. From the soothing massages to the jacuzzis enhanced with facial masks, every detail is crafted to melt away stress and wrap you in calm. The atmosphere is luxurious yet grounding—pure bliss. Devoti Restaurant deserves its own standing ovation. Set within a beautifully restored old church, the ambiance alone is magical. But the food—every single dish—was a revelation. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a culinary journey that left a lasting impression. The kind of dining experience you’ll tell stories about for years to come. And the breakfast? Absolutely divine. Every morning felt like a celebration—so fresh, so flavorful, so perfectly done. Truly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Visiting La Monastica was a dream come true. Incredible property, immaculate, beautiful gardens, everything perfect.

Staff was very friendly and informative. Loved the whirlpool and waking to the sounds of Etna erupting. Got a personal concert from a robin while in the whirlpool. Food is great too. Nice hikes nearby. Frequent visits from the local fox - I forget its name, but it does have one.

This was our first time at Monteverdi, and we’re already planning to return later this year. What was meant to be a three-night stay quickly turned into four, because everything was so wonderful — we simply didn’t want to leave. Here are a few of our favorite things about Monteverdi: First, the location and views. Each morning, we went on long hikes through the rolling Tuscan hills, soaking in the breathtaking scenery of this UNESCO-protected landscape. Every evening, we watched the sunset in peaceful awe. Time slows down here — and you truly learn to savor each moment. Second, the food. Every single meal was exceptional. The team sources fresh, local ingredients and crafts them into dishes that are both comforting and inspired. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, trying something new each time. And dinner? Even better. Riccardo and his team curated a seasonal menu that we absolutely loved — and since we dined there nearly every night, they even created a few special off-menu dishes just for us, which was such a memorable touch. Third, the experiences. From wine tasting at Le Ripi to day trips through charming nearby towns, there’s so much to explore. We also made time to relax at the property — the pool, sauna, and spa treatments were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. And above all, the people. Every member of the Monteverdi team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making us feel at home. Their hospitality created a space where we could truly unwind and be present. Monteverdi is a place that stays with you — and we’re already counting down the days until we return.
