Good location , so close to the train station, and to the attractions. The room was comfortable. Good breakfast, and the most important thing , the private spa, we lovvved it , private sauna ,jacuzzi, steam room and relaxing room, and its spotless clean. The staff were very helpful , at the time of our visit there was strike of employees of public transport, the girls at the reception helped us a lot with the booking.

The staff were helpful and warm, in contrast with another hotel were stayed at in Milan. Especially a lady at the reception called Tilly, she was wonderful. We were upgraded to a huge room with two floors, two bedrooms and separate dressing area. It was essentially a 2 bedroom apartment, just without a kitchen. And the pool was great and had a lovely atmosphere. We not only cooled down but meet some lovely people as well.

The location was amazing and they have a very nice terrace where you can enjoy breakfast. Even though the rooms aren't modern, they were clean and the bedsheets smelled nice. Plus we had a quiet room, we could sleep peacefully and there was no noise from outside.

We were given a “mini apartment” type room in the courtyard. Well equipped & spacious. Wonderful scent of jasmine in the evening 🤗 The staff were friendly & helpful. There was a facility in the foyer to refill your drinking water bottles. As we didn’t want Spa treatments, we were able to book time in the swimming pool only for a small extra charge.

The location is fantastic - less than 5 min walk from the train station 😊 Staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfy. Air con worked perfectly. Loved the welcoming gifts in the room chocolate and pasta!

    Loved walking the streets and popping into as many Wine Bars and Restuarants as possible. Meeting and chatting with the locals. Loved taking in the history. A few day trips into the countryside, oh so beautiful! Will certainly revisit, anticipating a longer stay!

    Bad experiences. Don't come!! 1. The house we stay at is not good, even though it is rated high on Booking.com. 2. We lost a checked luggage with our duty-free purchase while we finished the check-in process. We suspect someone who works at the airport took our luggage. 3. The bus inspector is very rude. We just sit down and try to stamp our ticket, but she won't let us finish the stamp and tries to fine us. 4. The area around the Florence Cathedral is filled with scammers and pickpockets.

    The City was great, so much to do and see.

    The City was great, so much to do and see. Needed 3-4 days to see and do everything we wanted to do. Lots of great food. Prebook tickets to the major sites to avoid waiting in long lines and to maximize your time.

    A beautiful city, but exceptionally busy, definitely worth going out of the main tourist zones to find a more relaxed atmosphere. Exploring the Oltrano is definitely worth doing, very relaxed, lovely streets, relaxed eateries. Beautiful parks and gardens which offer stunning views over the city.

    Such a beautiful city, small and easy to walk around. Lots of fantastic places to eat and not pay tourist prices. I did a cultural (skip the queues) tour in the morning and a foodie tour in the evening- got to see places I’d have missed on my own. Had tapas and wine in Budellino Bar ♥️ Had the most delicious steak at Trattoria Mamma Gina ♥️

    I was surprised by how great this hotel was for the price. The location is amazing — right in the historic center near Ponte Vecchio and just a short walk to the Duomo, but still peaceful.The room was way more spacious than I expected — rare for Italy! Best of all, the hotel is pet-friendly, which is hard to find in Florence’s city center. The staff were super friendly and really helpful, making the whole stay easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Great value for money — I’ll definitely stay here again!

    I wanted a hotel close to Florence but also with grounds and a pool. Both were excellent. I hadn't planned on eating at the hotel every evening but the food, ambience and service were excellent. For those that fear having to save a bed by the pool every day, fear not, there are ample. The local buses into town are frequent but a 10 min walk away and don't adhere to forecast times, I didn't find it a problem, part of the experience of being in Italy. The hotel operates a shuttle but not always at the times I needed.

    I only stayed one night and it was my greatest experience in Italy in terms of accommodation. Great localization, right across the river, short walk from many landmarks, room was very clean, and most importantly the staff was friendly and welcoming - particularly Eduina, who was not only very helpful in anything related to the hotel, but also advised me on the next parts of my trip after Florence.
