The intentionality of the staff with personally written welcome card was a nice touch. Also, when we left they gifted us Italian pasta. Another positive was that it wasn't too loud at night in our room. We also liked the balcony.

Everything was great during my stay but a special shout out to all the hotel staff - at check in, breakfast (especially Sahar), room service, bar and reception (especially Hicham). Everyone went above and beyond to address and issues or concerns I had., and to accommodate all my needs. Hotel is very clean, convenient location and good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again if I go back to Florence.

Best-known for the stunning Duomo, Florence is full of amazing buildings and its historic center. The Ponte Vecchio, a 14th-century bridge holding a multitude of shops on its edges is a stunning example and provides a truly unforgettable view.
Dig into more of the city’s historical past at the Basilica of Santa Croce, a Franciscan church full of great artwork and the burial place of Italian greats: Michelangelo and Galileo. The Uffizi Gallery is one of the world’s finest art museums and the Pitti Palace is not far behind.
For great dining, the Santa Croce district has countless options and the unique lampredotto is Florentine fast-food with a 1000-year old history. Many consider the local gelato, Italian ice-cream, to be the best in the world.
The beauty and flavours of Florence are just a 15-minute train ride from the Amerigo Vespucci International Airport. Whether you’re looking for a room with a view at a cosy B&B, a luxury hotel or an intimate guesthouse, Booking.com has the perfect accommodation for your Florence adventure.
Florence is a truely beautiful city. We visited for 3-nights as part of a two-centre break. As a lot of reviews will tell you the city is extremely popular with tourists so it can get very busy. We visited over Easter weekend so were expecting this. As long as you are aware that this will be the case then it’s no problem.Keep an eye on your belongings as it is popular with pick-pockets but we had no problems during our trip. Florence is a relatively small city so is easy to navigate on foot and all the main attractions are pretty close together. There is so much to see and do such as the beautiful paintings in the Uffizi, Michelangelo’s David in the Academia and climbing the impressive Duomo. But get your tickets ahead of time and be in good time for your slot to reducing queuing. There are lovely free sights to walk to on foot for a view of the city, surrounded by the Tuscan hills beyond and across the Ponte Vecchio or stilling in one of the many lovely squares. We did planning ahead of the trip to decide what to do each day and group things together in similar areas. We also did a walking tour, which I would highly recommend as we learned about a lot of the history and buildings we would have missed ourselves. Being Italy there’s lots of amazing food on offer such as fresh truffle pasta and gelato shops everywhere. The central market is wonderful to walk around and has a great eating area upstairs for a glass of Chianti Classico and a huge variety of food on offer, great for lunch.

Second time in Florence and far too short as we were passing through on the way to the Grand Prix at Imola.
We fell in love the first time with the sights sound and people, and will be back again for a longer stay.
Of special memory for us were the Duomo (do a tour!) and the Leonardo museum. We walked for miles and there is something around every corner.
We ate this time at a restaurant on the corner next to the Cathedral, and although as expected it was a little expensive, food and service were very good

This was my third trip to Florence, following two others in 2019 and 2022. Compared to those times, the city has gotten even more crowded, touristy, and expensive. It's hard to go to any of the sites without running into people posing for their selfies and glamor shots. As much as I enjoy Florence for its history and culture, the ambiance just isn't the same, and I don't have much interest in going back again. Same with Venice!

Florence is unbeatable for those who enjoy culture, history, and good food!
Uffizi Gallery is must go if you enjoy painting - book your tickets in advance to avoid the line!
Duomo is absolutely amazing!
This time we didn't go to Academia to see Michelangelo's David (we were there before), but we crossed Ponte Vecchio and climbed up the great vista (Piazzale Michelangelo) with the bronze copy of David and fantastic views of Florence.
Our 2 best food experiences were next door to our stay in Il Barggello restaurant - great service and amazing food- and in a little authentic tavern on the way up to Piazzale Michelangelo (sorry, don't remember its name). Stake Fiorentino in the famous Sabbatini restaurant wasn't so good at first, and we had to ask for a replacement. the second time it was great! But prices are high there.
We also enjoyed street music just next to our stay on Piazza della Signoria.

Love this hotel in Florence. It was my family's favourite hotel for our stay in Italy. The location is about 8-10 min walk from the train station, and it is walking distance to the Duomo and all other locations. The leather street vendors are just beneath the hotel. There are many nice cafes, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. There are also a number of halal restaurants close to the hotel. The beds are comfy and the room is a good size and the staff are friendly and yrustworthy. Highly recommend, you will not regret!
Location is perfect, close to the train station and basically walking distance to all the attractions. Marco is very friendly, he helped to carry the luggage to my room upstairs, also shared many information to explore the city. There is shared kitchen with all the essentials you need, the room is spacious and bed is comfortable, personally I like the powerful shower and fast drying hair dryer, it's the best shower I enjoyed throughout my whole Italy trip, will definitely recommend Marco's way if you visiting Florence.
The location was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room and all of the common areas were cleaned to an outstanding level every day. When you book 1st class in trains, you often need hard copies printed to show your reservation. I would receive the email from Rail Europe and forward it to the hotel and the staff immediately printed it for me. The front desk staff and the maid who cleans the building makes this a desirable place to stay in the city of Florence Italy.
The apartment is situated on 2-3 min walk to all the main POI in Florence!!! Very comfortable, very good air conditioning, two separate bathrooms. It was my best accomodation in Italy I ever had.
