The lake In Garda was stunning and refreshing .People are friendly. Food was almost the same in every restaurant especially the food by the Lake. Easy to get around because of the Bus station location.

We loved Garda because of its great location in the central...
We loved Garda because of its great location in the central part of the lake. Go north and you are into the mountains. Go south and you find the beautiful fortress town of Sirmione. Go by car if you must but the Navigare ferry transport is an efficient way to travel.
The town is charming and compact. Everything is walkable and there are many good restaurant, bar and cafe options within easy walking distance. All found within a spotlessly clean and woody setting.
We stayed 4 days for a wedding event. It was the perfect base!

Garda is the best place to visit
Its a must visit place and all the areas are amazing. I would 100 % recommend the east side as its beautiful.
Top places like garad town, bardolini, malsecine and limone sul garda are top picks.
South is nice too , but too busy like sirmione etc.

Garda is an idyllic place where the scenery is marvellous...
Garda is an idyllic place where the scenery is marvellous and the food is amazing. the area is clean and very easy to explore and navigate by yourself if you rent a car or you can just use the ferries.
I am already looking forward for my next trip to the area.

Really enjoyed Garda. Great bus service to local areas. Saved on Taxi to Verona as bus service so efficient and very reasonable.
Convenient and affordable ferry transport to other towns on the lake, so much easier than renting a car.
Especially enjoyed Bardolino. A nice walk along the lake and if you don't feel like walking back jump on a ferry. Very nice shops.

Garda is an excellent base for western Lake Garda area since it's in the middle and has convenient transportation connections to both north and south by bus and ferry. Garda is also very tranquil and peaceful to stay at. This is our second time to Garda within 6 months!

The keys were picked up from the reception of another facility some 10min drive from the apartments which was OK as we had a Hire Car,
Our Apartment (126) was slightly off the main path so a bit more sheltered than some.
The pool was an added benefit that was well used by our teenage sons.
The beech although convenient was only a 3m wide stretch that ran between the shore of Lake Garda and the neighbouring properties for around 500m
Convenient for Garda being only 5min walk to the beech and 20mins into town

Hotel was in a great location, about a 15 minute walk into Garda along the promenade. It was located in a quiet area. The pool was small but perfect for the amount of people in the hotel. Breakfast was perfect with lots of choice. Staff were really helpful and the hotel also had bikes you could use to get into town if that's what you wanted to do. We did have a problem with dogs barking from time to time as this is a pet friendly hotel

The breakfast was lovely and the location of the hotel is great, with lots of restaurants, cafe's and shops nearby.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Roma. Everyone, from Natasha and her colleagues on the front desk, to the waiters and all the staff members, including the cleaning staff, they were all super friendly and very welcoming. We will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lake Garda.
