Loano suffers by comparison with much tidier and prettier neighbors, Finale Ligure and Noli. It is a sleepy little town with a lot of roundabouts and old apartment buildings. There is a large camping and the Pozzi resort, which seem to attract tour buses that end up clogging the narrow streets. Every single time I drove around town there were buses. I guess that is summer here.....
Did not do any tourism locally, just stopping by overnight.
There is a very good place to eat at the Locanda Del Marinaio, with excellent service and the freshest seafood. I would come back just for that.

Loano is my favorite place in Italy.
Loano is my favorite place in Italy. It is a relaxed little town with everything you need. Good resturants, nice beaches and nightlife. There is also hiking possibility and you can visit the caves. Very family friendly and and easy to travel around with train to other places. The perfect holliday if you want to relax and enjoy yourself.

An amazing hotel. I've book appartments with kitchen so I didn't use the brekfast and dinner. The swimming pool is big, the restorant and terittory beautiful. The room was clear and really comfortable.
